I will go much further on foot past a Sainsbury's and an Asda to use Aldi. So much cheaper and I find their produce much better. Anything they don't sell that I need (not that much) I get from B&M or Sainsbury's.

My mother usually shops at Morrisons but gets everything for Christmas from M&S. I was amazed at how much they charge for some items which are identical (as far I could see) to items in Aldi or Sainsbury's.

Why do you dislike Tesco so much ?
It's the closest to me so I use it the most. I also go to Aldi, Lidl, M&S and Dunnes. Sometimes to Supervalu. All within 5 miles of my home. I'm in Ireland.
I'd love if Waitrose, Asda and Sainsburys decided to locate here too.

I wish Ocado delivered to me but they don’t deliver to Scotland at all which is a real shame because it looks great.Sad

Have always shopped around, bought different things from each of them.

My nearest two supermarkets are asda and lidl - they're next door to each other. However, if I'm returning from visiting family, Tesco Extra is conveniently located on the way back, so I might pop in there.

I like to do my main shop at Lidl but they don't do dairy free stuff so I go to Tesco or Asda for dairy free and also for British pork products as all Lidl stuff is EU pork. This month we are cutting down on all meat in general so as a result have been going to aldi as they have a good vegan/veggie range and Tesco/aldi a bit more.

I prefer to buy veg in Tesco because it's not plastic wrapped whereas all Lidl stuff is wrapped, no loose produce. But it's so much more expensive and sometimes we just can't afford to be as principled as we'd like.
