Indulge me... DH and I have enjoyed ourselves today thinking of random words that could be names Grin A bit like when Uncle Fester said Dementia was a beautiful name. DH thinks Nausea could be lovely.

I read an interview with Michelle Dockery this morning where she was asked her favourite word - she said “Apricity. It means the warmth of the sun in winter”. I seriously considered using this as a name for about 10 seconds (expecting a girl in a few weeks and still haven’t decided on a name, so anything is fair game at this point. Might use this thread for inspiration)

Bili reuben is a name in a book. Might be silence of the lambs.
I am now working out what I am going to call my next pet. I quite fancy calling some of these names out loud😁.
I did hear of someone who called their pets Castor and Pollux, after Roman myths and also stars in the sky. Pollux sounds a bit different when shouted accross a field when the dog is running away.....

Spitchwick · 04/01/2020 17:38

Just finished a book with a character called Coriander, Corrie for short.
