Lighthearted

I’ve had a few hard weeks but having cancelled all plans for the next few days, things are looking up. DH, kids and I are having some PJ days with very little effort involved.

So what wondrous feast did you have for breakfast?

I had:

1 parsnip
1 carrot poached on butter
2 roast potatoes dipped in ketchup
5 forkfuls of Black Forest Gateau
Handful of grapes
Diet Coke

Currently watching Groundhog Day and considering a second plate, maybe this time consisting of cheese.

I had fresh coffee, toast, greek yoghurt and honey, and shit loads of belgian chocolate biscuits 🙌

Lincslady53 · 26/12/2019 18:55

Back to normal today. Porridge with a spoonful of dark sugar and a spoonful of cinnamon, orange juice, and a stong coffee.

Dionysa · 26/12/2019 18:56

Scarlettpixie · 26/12/2019 19:17

Oof. I'm surprised there haven't been many more of those today...

Merryoldgoat · 27/12/2019 10:29

Very nice everyone. DH and I got rid of most of the leftovers yesterday but there’s still enough for a beef sandwich this morning. No Ferrero Rocher though - I got too excited.

I’m still looking at an unmolested Christmas cake and huge Christmas pudding. Also a dozen mince pies.

GinNsnowmen · 27/12/2019 10:52

Tea

ForInstance · 27/12/2019 10:54

You’re right that you don’t strictly need the voting buttons OP, but I voted a big fat YANBU for your excellent breakfast. Grin

ForInstance · 27/12/2019 10:55

Oh, and I had: a sliver of leftover cheesecake made by my aunt-in-law, 1/3 of a banana discarded by 1 year old DC, and marmite on toast.

Weepingwillows12 · 27/12/2019 10:57

Smoked salmon and scrambled egg on a toasted bagel. Then chocolate!

GeistohneGrenzen · 27/12/2019 11:03

A third of a can of tinned grapefruit this morning. Yesterday started off the same but was then followed by rather a lot of pre-shelled brazil nuts and a hefty serving of Brie... Crown Grin

CrowleysBentley · 27/12/2019 11:05

An omelette with tomato, mushroom, red onion and strong cheddar in it, a glass of orange juice and a big mug of strong coffee. It was lovely.

Sgtmajormummy · 27/12/2019 11:22

A good snout around the Digestives Selection Box of biscuits.
A pot of 2 x PG tips.
A double espresso.
Vitamins and magnesium/potassium solution.

Now getting acid reflux...

Campervan69 · 27/12/2019 11:23

Left over salmon, eggs and nut roast.

Lindor lindt x 8

Cup of tea.

longtompot · 27/12/2019 11:26

The past two mornings I have had toasted bread with Nigellas coke baked glazed ham with cranberry sauce.

And a mince pie.

And a bit of Christmas pudding.

SendCoffeeASAP · 27/12/2019 22:36

My body is a temple... so naturally I had 2 (ok ok 4) chocolate digestive biscuits, dunked in coffee and peanut butter (from the jar, I am a heathen)
