I have some last min Xmas wrapping to do which I dread 😩
Pick up veg from Tesco ready for the big day and the turkey/sausage meat from the butchers.
Drop off some presents to extended family whom are not with us this Christmas.
& then to lounge about with my 10month old DD and see how many times we can watch frozen on repeat before DH pulls the last remaining hairs he has left from his head 😁

Hoping the adult DC don't destroy their livers with parties.

AragonsGirl · 20/12/2019 21:49

Driving from north east Scotland to South Wales. Then frantically wrapping the presents that I’ve had delivered there! And drinking lots of gin!

itsgettingweird · 20/12/2019 21:49

Cleaning house.
Xmas shopping.
Visiting friends
Preparing for friends visiting Xmas eve.

I'm already knackered. Not looking forward to any of it!

SeaViewBliss · 20/12/2019 21:50

I've got a list but currently in bed with aches, chills and feeling shit.

If I don't feel better in the morning, DH & DD will go and do the food shop. DH and I had planned to get up v early and go.

I still got some vouchers to get and haven't wrapped anything yet - not much to do so not panicking.

I had planned on having a lovely weekend so hoping I don't have something that's going to last.

Yoohoo16 · 20/12/2019 21:50

Working a hideous day tomorrow and we moved house this week so unpacking on Sunday. Not very exciting, unfortunately.

WelcomeToShootingStars · 20/12/2019 21:51

Eating, drinking and being merry.
And getting up at 8am for the food delivery on Sunday, heaven help me.

Energyofasloth · 20/12/2019 21:52

@Myyearmytime oh no poor you ☹️ Wishing you better! My DD had that a few weeks ago, had to have amoxicillin for 10days! Hope it goes in time for Christmas.

I cleaned today and decluttered lounge. Set up the 'Christmas table' with drinks and chocs etc.
Tomorrow I have tesco bringing drink and nibble bits and Monday is ASDA with Christmas dinner food.
I'm basically hibernating from now till Tuesday when I will be taking kids out for day to see Santa etc and then a meal in evening with friends at a pub and home for 8pm with all kids (dsd coming for crimbo!)

Floralnomad · 20/12/2019 21:52

Tomorrow : having a riding lesson , delivering some cards and presents
Sunday : going to an EH Christmas event and having dinner out with ds and his partner

HowlsMovingBungalow · 20/12/2019 21:55

On my own - DP has gone to bed as working tomorrow for 16hrs. Housework and general boring bollocks for me tomorrow. Sunday - Christmas food shopping ( hell on earth ) a dog walk and some wine whilst watching the new Scrooge programme - woo!.

Smashtastick · 20/12/2019 21:56

Cleaning. It's only family so doesn't need to be show home but this house is a pigsty.

Grabbing some potatoes and fresh salad from Aldi and replacing the cheese selection as the one I bought has sat in the bad with the ambient food for a week!

Then starwars. Of course.

HundredMilesAnHour · 20/12/2019 21:58

Gym class Sat morning
Then feed the squirrels in the park and go for a long walk (via The Ginger Pig for a few last minute treats)
Check car tyre pressures etc
Wrap presents (I hate doing this)
Try on various outfits to decide which to pack (I'm away for 4 days over Christmas)
Feet up in front of TV (I have a lurgy so trying to rest so it will go quickly)

Gym Sun morning
Sun lunch at Hawksmoor
Clean out pet cage (they will also be coming away with me)
Last minute panic packing (as I change my mind about everything I've already packed)
Keep fingers crossed traffic for the 250 mile journey ahead isn't horrendous

neversleepagain · 20/12/2019 21:59

We're off to London until Monday with the dc. We're seeing Wicked, the Christmas lights and St Paul's Cathedral (at dc's request).
I've wrapped presents and online shopping being delivered on Christmas Eve. We're all looking forward to our pre Christmas weekend.

notnowmaybelater · 20/12/2019 21:59

Working tonight, tomorrow morning and all day Sunday.

I've bought all the presents but the only wrapped ones are the posted ones. I have to buy presents for my children from their grandparents too, and wrap them, they just pay me back... I never wrap in advance though, always the night before.

I've got a duck in the freezer but will buy the rest of the food on Monday. I wish I didn't have to cater for FIL who has ignored us all year but been dumped by his much younger girlfriend when she realised he was exaggerating his financial means and was actually unlikely to buy her a flat, and suddenly he wants to spend Christmas with us despite forgetting all about his children's and grandchildren's birthdays...

SlightlyStaleCocoPops · 20/12/2019 21:59

At work.

CrowleysBentley · 20/12/2019 21:59

Tomorrow morning I'll clean the oven, give the place a clean, and run the hoover and mop around. Other than that just lots of resting, if I don't I will not manage all the Christmas stuff without crashing.

I might fit in a few Christmas films, some mince pies and the occasional glass of wine. Oh and I have a few rows of a blanket to knit and finish off.

CherryPavlova · 20/12/2019 22:00

Candlelit carol service and drinks until just now.
Tomorrow sort bedrooms. Do flowers. A few extra stocking fillers.
Go and see mother.
Supper party with neighbours in the evening.

Sunday Mass then collect big shop and put away. Wrapping. Make and freeze some canapés. Sort clothes for work for next week. Drinks party in next village.

Booberella9 · 20/12/2019 22:00

Attempting to entertain a ragey 3 year old.

That's pretty much it!

Energyofasloth · 20/12/2019 22:05

Ah yes, I must clean to (I was hoping I’d wake up and the cleaning fairy would have been)...oh wait, that is me 🙄
I deep cleaned the other night, so hopefully, I can just keep on top of it all with minimal effort!
