Beebeezed · 18/12/2019 21:19

Omg, I don’t know what to do. My boyfriend has gone out on a work do. I kept hearing a pinging coming from his office so I went in to mute whatever device it was and it was his iPad. Went to mute it and saw the message ‘can’t wait babe’ on the home screen. Obviously I opened it and have now found hundreds of messages between him and another girl. No idea who she is. Haven’t even looked into that yet. Just read the messages. He says he loves her. I have an 8 month old baby I feel sick please what shall I do from here? He’s just text me saying he misses me and I can see on the iPad he’s text her saying he misses her

whyismysoullost · 21/12/2019 17:26

OP your a badass. You go girl !

andyjusthangingaround · 21/12/2019 17:45

@Beebeezed
WOW! You are very strong! And you have done incredibly well, especially under the circumstances

And reality will hit you. However you have the most important things to deal with it:

  • an amazing and supporting family network
  • a toddler who relies on you 100%
  • and a strong mindset
Well done! Remember how you feel now when he tries to charm his way back - and he will Time is the best healer... Flowers
lovemenorca · 21/12/2019 17:48

Why are you presuming you and your son won’t be able to stay in the home you love?

You need to “tool up” OP and secure the absolute best you can for you and your son.

lovemenorca · 21/12/2019 17:50

Oh and if it’s not too late, please don’t drink tonight!
If I was your friend I’d the suggesting we grab early dinner, no / hardly any booze so you’re back home at decent hour. Throw in a hangover and crap night sleep in to the ruction and it might tip you over the edge

GooeyLooey · 21/12/2019 17:52

@Beebeezed I'm in awe of you. You are amazing. I hope you have a good time tonight with your friends.

Whatsername177 · 21/12/2019 17:55

You have been amazing, op. Personally, I would tell the ow. I'd be completely factual. As in 'Dear OW, I recently discovered my partner, twatfacelittledick, has been cheating on me with you. We have been together x time and we have a baby son. He tells me you didn't know about me, so I'm telling you. I've left him, I want nothing more to do with him and I do not want a response from you, however, you might want to get an STI check.'
I had a friend who was desperately in love with a guy who worked odd hours. She found out she was the ow after some of the wives friends confronted her when she was on a date with him. He had been caught out, begged his wife not to leave, left for a few days to give her space, then went and stayed with my friend and took her out for a fancy meal! The wife's friends really let rip on my poor friend but she genuinly didn't know. She was devastated but kicked him to the curb and saved herself further heartache. You owe the OW nothing if she knew. However, if she didn't, she is a victim too.

Powerplant · 21/12/2019 18:30

Well done you and your mum sounds wonderful. Have a great night out with your friends 💐

Poptasmagorical · 21/12/2019 18:39

I looked that Ron Morgan guy up on facebook. I have no idea what he was doing posting the comment but he looks like a proper knobhead.

I hope you’re managing okay op. You’ve been so strong.

thesunhasgothishatontoday · 21/12/2019 18:49

Have a fabulous evening OP. You have handled all this so well. Wishing you and your family a wonderful Christmas and that 2020 is kind to you all (obv except Ex and OW!) Xx

2018SoFarSoGreat · 21/12/2019 18:50

Thanks for updating this thread. I've been thinking about you and hoping you were ok. Well, as ok as is possible in the circumstances.

You are so strong. Such an example to your son and to all of us. I wish you nothing but happiness in the future you will build. I don't doubt you will make it so.

Dhalandchips · 21/12/2019 18:58

Your ex is a bloody idiot for doing what he did you. He's lost a diamond and found a dog turd.

SitOnSantasKnee555 · 21/12/2019 19:06

@Beebeezed

Credit to you. What a way to conduct yourself. He'll rue his actions for many a year to come. Your son is unbelievably lucky to have you. And that's an understatement.

One bit of advice. Presumably all your friends have phones. Don't take yours tonight if you're planning on having a drink. Alcohol plus a group of tipsy mates baying for his blood might cause a drunk dialling situation. Give your phone to DM and have it back when you wake up.

Queenest · 21/12/2019 21:46

Well done OP you are a strong woman. All power to you girl!! 💪

TheMaddHugger · 21/12/2019 23:54

((((Madd Hugs))) @Beebeezed 😢🌼💐

secretdoubleagent · 22/12/2019 07:30

Op I just wanted to say how amazing and strong you are. You handle the whole situation with such grace and dignity.

You are such a good role model for your DC. I wanted to wish you.an amazing Christmas and a fantastic new year. See it as a new start and I promise this time next year you will look back and feel so proud of yourself. Take care xxx

Sweetpeach3 · 22/12/2019 07:37

How on earth are you managing to be so strong. I envy you so much for being this brave incredible strong woman I could never be. You've been so dignified and the fact you've stil got your life and your 100% fine on your own is amazing. You go woman!
I'm glad your okay and the wine helped you offload and do some awful mum dancing.

You've got this covered ! ❤️❤️

TheMaddHugger · 22/12/2019 08:58
booboo24 · 22/12/2019 09:15

Wow, I'm in awe of how you've handled this, what an idiot he is, he has made one hell of a mistake but I'm sure you're strong enough not to get sucked back in. I'm so sorry for what's happened and at this time of year too, but I also know that as terrible as you probably feel right now, you'll come out of this so much stronger and in time will find so much more happiness than you ever would have done with him. I wish you and your children a happy Christmas and all the very best for 2020 x

binkyblinky · 22/12/2019 10:16

My goodness me. You. Are. Absolutely. Incredible!
Cry if you need to, but your strength and dignity will get you through this!

OldEvilOwl · 22/12/2019 10:40

Great update OP. Enjoy your night out

bathsh3ba · 22/12/2019 11:07

Just wanted to reiterate you handled this so well and you will be ok. I nearly left my ex husband when my youngest was a baby and my elder daughter was 2. I wish I had. I hung on till they were 4 and 6. They are both fine now but it is so much harder to leave with older kids. At least your ex admitted it, mine still maintains he 'woz hacked' to this day.

Expo · 22/12/2019 12:16

How are you OP? Flowers

christmasstress · 22/12/2019 12:31

Oh OP, you are doing so well. How utterly awful of him. Keep strong - you will get through this.

JustASmallTownCurl · 22/12/2019 15:16

Fucking hell OP I want to be you when I grow up and you're probably younger than me! Well done on being so strong - your little one is a lucky boy Thanks
