@DanielRicciardosSmile

What madness is this?? Of course you can justify having a treat of a little baked Camembert, even if it’s just for yourself! Why on earth would that be too much, considering all that I’m sure you do every day, day in and day out, as a mother and wife?? Stop that madness immediately and get yourself a Camembert in your next grocery shop!

Xmas Smile

Pour Sweet Chilli sauce over the top before dipping.

One between two people is fine - one each is even better! Classic garlic and rosemary are my favourite additions but I had a whole baked Camembert in a restaurant once with a divine combination of pear, honey, rosemary and honey-roasted peanuts.

@Bubblysqueak - would you mind please sharing which vegan substitute you recommend, for a good friend who turned vegan a few years ago but used to love Camembert. Ta!

My fave Christmas Eve supper - baked camembert with baked potato.

I've got a great recipe. Cut camembert in half. Put chopped sundried tomatoes, grilled eggplant and basil on bottom half. Place top half back on top. Microwave on medium for about 2 minutes. You could easily put it in the oven. Yum!!
