Whilst I totally agree that Scotland has the right to become independent, it seems to me that they want to push though a vote without telling the people how they expect to fund themselves, what currency they will use and what trading agreement they expect to have with the UK. I really think that these things should be made clear to the rest of the UK before they are allowed their rightful vote - A weak Scotland using our currency could drag us all down with them and a soft border would encourage the continued uncontrolled migration to England via Scotland. although NS got a landslide majority, 50+% didn't vote for her.

Given that it wasn’t a referendum, that’s not necessarily indicative of how people would vote. Presumably the SNP voters are more likely to vote yes in a referendum but so are many others.

Sturgeon now claiming that the GE was a mandate for independence. This is garbage, like saying the GE was a mandate for the South of Scotland, Tory NE Scotland and LD Orkney & Shetland to secede from independent Scotland and stay with the UK.

She isn't, she's saying it's a mandate for another referendum. I don't know if it is, but I do think a Hard Brexit by the Westminster government with no regard for Scotland or Gibraltar's remain vote IS a mandate for another referendum.

There will only be a hard border if the UK crashes out of the European Union - and if this happens, the border with Scotland will be the least of England's worries (except, perhaps, for the number of would-be migrants with their tanking sterling pound escaping over the border to Scotland...)

Scotland would have to accept the Euro as a member of the EU. I don't see any plausible reason why this would not be the case. The SNP need to be honest about this.

It is not the case. EU members must commit in principle to joining the euro, but there are many EU members who do not have the euro and have no plans to adopt it. Additionally, the EU has no mechanism to force countries to adopt the euro if they do not want to.
