I don't have a target, so no.

WaxOnFeckOff · 22/12/2019 18:52

Nothing. And on top of that we've been told that the building will close at 3pm and we'll be expected to make up any time...

Got a gift from my boss but bought out of his own pocket.

houseofhungryboys · 22/12/2019 20:08

Have never had a bonus as I've always worked in the Public Sector

naughtynelliesnunnie · 22/12/2019 20:41

NHS here - in our Trust all staff get a Christmas dinner free in the canteen which is lovely, a tub of chocs for each speciality/department to share and just received a £50 gift card for CQC rating of outstanding for second year running Smile

I realise how lucky I am as a public sector worker.

My Consultant is very generous - a cheque, John Lewis gift set and a bottle of bubbly Wine

doublebarrellednurse · 22/12/2019 20:46

My boss bought a mince pie 😂

CheddarCheesy · 22/12/2019 21:07

I got a £7,500 annual bonus linked to performance this year, it was paid at the end of November so that was nice just before Christmas Grin

We also get Christmas Eve off this year without needing to take it off as holiday, I always have around 21st Dec - 2nd Jan off anyway but it was nice to essentially gain an 'extra' holiday day this year.

Sparrowlegs248 · 22/12/2019 21:14

Managers usually buy a bottle of wine for their staff. This year, a staff member has had a bereavement so they are donating to the relevant charity instead.

starrynight19 · 22/12/2019 21:16

I work in a school , we have delivered a Xmas toy sack and a food bank parcel. We sent a letter to all parents to donate to the food bank rather than buy for staff gifts. I would love a Xmas bonus Grin

Nextphonewontbesamsung · 22/12/2019 21:21

I work for a tiny company (boss and 5 employees). I earn £32k pro-rata and if last year is anything to go by will get £200 in cash for my Christmas bonus.

Tunnocksmallow · 22/12/2019 21:25

Bugger all

TheHumansAreDefinitelyDead · 22/12/2019 21:30

I got a £40 voucher from a farm shop Grin (random?!)

Jenpop234 · 22/12/2019 21:31

Nowt. Public sector. OH gets a bottle of champagne.

Skyejuly · 22/12/2019 22:19

Nope

Houseworkavoider · 22/12/2019 22:30

Nope.
I’ve taken much less than my employees in wages.
If brexit doesn’t sort it out then my staff can look forward to job hunting in the new year.

TheOrigFV45 · 22/12/2019 22:48

I get a months salary as a bonus in January. Yay.

DefConOne · 22/12/2019 22:52

Nothing. £10 voucher that my boss paid for herself. We pay for our Christmas do and might get a couple of bottles of wine for the table paid for by the consultant in charge of our department. I'm in the NHS and I gave up private sector with bonuses for public sector job security.

Grandmi · 23/12/2019 00:12

We got a bag of tat from a company that has won various awards for the best nursing home in our part of the country!! All hard working staff are massively pissed off ...the office staff had a meal out plus hamper!! Have suggested that as long as the residents are well looked after , the staff stop being so bloody accomadating with covering for sick leave and change of rota!!

HollaHolla · 23/12/2019 00:18

Higher education. Not a bean. Not even a sweetie from my boss. I buy a wee thing for each of my team of 14, but she won’t get something for the 3 of her senior managers.
She’s a terrible boss at the best of times, anyway.

katewhinesalot · 23/12/2019 00:35

Box of chocolates

babbi · 23/12/2019 21:40

Very lucky here ....
£3000. , weekend away at a plush hotel for Xmas get away ... case of champagne 🍾 Fortnum and Mason hamper .case of red and white wine .... dinner and night at a musical , special lunch x 2...
2 bottles of gin , one whisky and 3 large boxes of Thorntons ...

I don’t drink 😂
So tend to throw Cmas parties 🎉 to use it up

babbi · 23/12/2019 21:40

Oh and Yoga 🧘‍♀️ clothes and a new mat from my team

CactusAndCacti · 23/12/2019 21:57

Yes, about £450 after deductions.

TheFuzzyStar · 23/12/2019 22:05

A meal out drinks not included

MrsZola · 23/12/2019 22:09

I bloody wish! And we pay for our own 'do'.

pollysproggle · 23/12/2019 22:20

DH gets around £600 in John Lewis vouchers every year, party and Christmas breakfast. About 6-7k bonus before tax too but doesn't receive it until early spring.
He works hard for a decent company who treat all staff very well. The bonus is different of course but all staff including cleaning/maintenance/security staff receive the same amount in John Lewis vouchers.
