And that's why so, so many MNers are baffled that the Conservatives are going to achieve a landslide victory over Labour.

Out there is the real world, there was far less support for Corbyn but most MNers couldn't see what was coming.

There are more nasty swear words from the left than right but that probably just relfects their backgrounds etc and I certainly don't hold it against them.

Oh deary me. What a snooty thing to say.

FYI I have friends who went to Oxford university who've never voted anything but Labour.

Too many sweeping statements/assumptions on both sides.

I am a Labour voter. I work hard as for my DH who owns his own business FWIW.

I am sick of people on both sides making sweeping statements about the other.

I actually liked elements of BJ's recent speeches about the need to represent the whole country etc.

I am obviously disappointed about the election result but have not called anyone names do don't tar everyone with the same brush.

Hoping that the new govt and Brexit will bring positive progress for OUR country.

I swear like a sailor. Despite being from a nice, middle class home where nobody swore. So shoot me. And I’m with @Bobbybobbins, I have called nobody names or insulted them, although the temptation to do so in the face of some of the asinine posts has been almost irresistible.
