BrickTop999 · 13/12/2019 00:09

Hope hope hope so !

bakabakabeyond · 13/12/2019 00:11

@fromdownwest A very small number of complaints have been blown up massively. There should never be any complaints but sadly we are never going to have a perfect party. If that's what you're looking for you'd never vote.

Research is pretty clear that antisemitism is seen far more amongst people who are right wing than left. All sense has left the building. Tories just get away with it more. All I am to Johnson is a picaninnie, worthless single mum, with a watermelon smile.

Blankscreen · 13/12/2019 00:12

i hope it's right.

I was/am terrified of Corbyn being in power.

If labour have lost 71 seats then that is a sure sign that Corbyn has got to go.

bakabakabeyond · 13/12/2019 00:13

@jefferyjefferson you beat me to it.

Poppyfields21 · 13/12/2019 00:16

For the sake of the country, I hope they are!

Leflic · 13/12/2019 00:16

JeffreyJefferson. That post is drivel. The piccanies and watermelon smile price he wrote for the Specator to highlight the colonial nature of the Queens visit. The kanguage was chosen precisely to highlight the underlying racist issues with her visit.
Boris defended the Muslim woman’s right to wear whatever they like and the letterbox quote was part of a larger price about France banning the burka.
But yes he was just being rude to Madeleson with the bum boys comment.

Labour and Lib Dems are too urban in their thinking. There are swathes if the rural population who have no choice but to vote conservative. (And maybe it us like turkeys voting for Christmas. Because those turkeys know they get plenty of food and shelter before they get dispatched. Unlike the ones in the wild that are out in this shit weather, half starved and then eaten alive by a fox or corvid.

SusieOwl4 · 13/12/2019 00:16

Stop slinging mud , read the whole articles . It’s childish . If you want someone to blame look at your leader . Who hates the royal family . Thinks all successful people are evil and should be punished and wants to talk to terrorists.

The fact is the rate of unemployment is the lowest it’s been for years and austerity was caused by labour . You have had an ineffective leader of the opposition for years. And most of the things wrong with the nhs were originally caused by labour . Don’t blame the voters , blame your sitting on the fence weak leader .

flowerpowerr · 13/12/2019 00:16

A very small number of complaints have been blown up massively.

Doesn’t sound like a “very small number“ of complaints to me:

littlejalapeno · 13/12/2019 00:18

Johnson is a racist, Misogynistic deadbeat dad and the tories have lied, schemed and bore false witness through this election. Who In their right mind votes for that?

sniffsneeze · 13/12/2019 00:18

@Cuteypye well you may see her again when she has a wee swim in Loch Ness.

Graphista · 13/12/2019 00:18

Do you know what I actually feel like doing - keeping a mental tally of my friends that voted Tory and when they complain about nhs/cuts/rising crime etc reminding them - very politely - thats what they voted for!

I’m pretty sure I can predict certain of them complaining quite soon/know they’ve complained in the past about such things.

#goodbyenhs trending on Twitter

Quite honestly, as a Scot that voted no in indyref, if the poll is right about the snp gains too I can definitely see independence becoming a real possibility and at this point I think I’d welcome it.

I’ll genuinely on verge of tears here, worried sick for myself and dd (both disabled) and for all those I know who are sick, poor or otherwise vulnerable.

I’m also very disturbed and angry at reports that a lot of students have been prevented from voting - a couple of whom are Facebook friends and I know they will have done everything they were supposed to in order to be on electoral roll, official excuse is “admin errors” I find that shocking and unacceptable.

Honestly feeling sick to my stomach.

A labour win would have been my preferred option, but I thought unlikely, but I was hoping for a hung parliament.

Thestinkycheeseman · 13/12/2019 00:19

No point mud slinging now.
What's done is done

littlejalapeno · 13/12/2019 00:19

@SusieOwl4 well done for believing what the daily mail wants you to believe 👍 Christ alive smh

fromdownwest · 13/12/2019 00:23

Why when a tory voter quotes a newspaper it is 'False news' and stupid gullible tory voters.

But when the mud is slung at BJ it is fact and not to be questioned.

Its all very very sad.

Thestinkycheeseman · 13/12/2019 00:25

Because it's all irrelevant now.
Tory win

littlejalapeno · 13/12/2019 00:28

@fromdownwest read Johnson’s own words in the press that employed him. Check his voting record. His public comments. He made the mud and rolled in it like the pig he is. But don’t let that hold you back from creating a warped narrative.

fromdownwest · 13/12/2019 00:32

I am not creating any warped narrative.

I voted on what I thought was right, it so happened that as a small business owner JC would have made it very hard to keep the same number of staff that I have. BJ is not ideal, but I felt that my employees and their livelihoods were safer with a Tory Government.

JC based on his Manifesto would have seen many small businesses go to the wall.

On the flip side, I can see why people voted for him. They felt that he was best for them and their loved ones. I do not judge them, I do not call them scum, I accept that they have a difference of opinion and respect that.

Calling people 'Scum' for having different voting tendencies, is a sad reflection of our society.

shinynewapplesonachristmastree · 13/12/2019 00:33

Just had a quick look at the exit polls seat by seat and there are a lot of seats where it is saying that the poll is too tight to predict eg 45:55 so it's not definitely a done deed .

fromdownwest · 13/12/2019 00:34

It is not over until the final vote is logged.

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 13/12/2019 00:34

If it's right, this will ultimately be good for Labour. They will finally get rid of Corbyn and elect a much more credible leader who will stand a good chance of winning in future.

Ofthread · 13/12/2019 00:34

@Speckledhen10 Er, let's hope you never have to use any kind of benefit, huh? You, er, feral benefit scrounger. (Not a benefit claimant btw)

Breathlessness · 13/12/2019 00:34

It’s done and dusted.

Breathlessness · 13/12/2019 00:36

’Thanks to every single incredible person who got involved in the campaign. We don't know the result yet and this is just an exit poll with many seats on a knife edge. But don't let anybody tell you the policies aren't popular - because they are.’
