If so, how long do you think you will last before your eyelids droop and you nod off?

I reckon I can last until about 3ish.

I’m so jealous of those of you who aren’t working tomorrow Envy
I’ll be tuning in, probably until about 2/3 but up at 6 - a very busy day at school follows but adrenaline and pro plus will get me through!

Softskin88 · 12/12/2019 20:37

I’m going to try!

Rosie2000 · 12/12/2019 20:40

Friday is usually my busiest work day but I have a sick ds so day off tomorrow which means I can stay up late. If the destroyer of education and cocaine snorter Gove loses his seat I’ll open a bottle of fizz Crown Grin

Dillydallyingthrough · 12/12/2019 20:45

Definitely, me and DP always stay up with snacks and wine and then straight into work tomorrow at 6am......I love the excitement as each constituency is declared.

GU24Mum · 12/12/2019 20:46

I'm aiming to be up for the 10 o'clock news (which does somewhat take the fun out of it!), wait for Sunderland and one or two other early ones then sleep til 3.30 ish.... at least that's the plan! I LOVE the coverage. Politics at the moment is infuriating and depressing ...... but the actual evening coverage is great.

Lizzie0869 · 12/12/2019 20:57

It's generally clear how the results will go once they read out the exit polls followed by the earliest results (Sunderland is usually the first!). DH and I will have BBC1 on so no doubt I'll doze off once it's clear how the results will go.

I remember staying up for most of the night in 1997 as a student when Tony Blair won the first time.

ChongADong · 12/12/2019 20:59

I'm in! Wine Brew

VanyaHargreeves · 12/12/2019 20:59

I remember the Blair victory and Portilllo losing his seat was just amazing drama

Thestrangestthing · 12/12/2019 21:00

God God no, it will be the same result in the morning.

YouRemindMeOfTheBabelfish · 12/12/2019 21:00

Already stayed up two nights in a row, then last night I was up til 4am. So if I don't sleep tonight I'll probably be dead.

But I do want to know the result.

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 12/12/2019 21:01

I have to be in work first thing, I suspect that I will sleep very badly as I will feel compelled to have the radio on and therefore be very anxious...

Galvantula · 12/12/2019 21:03

I'm not planning to, but I probably will. I was up checking loads for the Scottish and fucking disastrous EU referenda. 😭

burntpinky · 12/12/2019 21:04

We’ve just popped second bottle of wine (possibly stupid when DH working tomorrow and I’m off but have DC (15 months))!

HoldMyLobster · 12/12/2019 21:05

Have you got enough tech savvy to know how to try and get on iPlayer from NZ?

I'm in the US and I subscribe to Overplay.net for $5 a month. It's pretty reliable for the Beeb.

Onemorefortheroad · 12/12/2019 21:06

I really want to but so much on tomorrow 🙈

SunshineAngel · 12/12/2019 21:06

I always plan to, often stay up until around 3 then just go to bed.

worriedmuma · 12/12/2019 21:08

Yep. Newborn so won't be much of a change Grin

SJaneS48 · 12/12/2019 21:11

Plan to but think it’s going to be a depressing night for the non Blue of us so depends on how sad it gets. Have bought the wine and biscuits in though to cheer me up and have already told my two Tory work colleagues to feel free to keep me out of the ‘ now we can get Brexit done’ emails so I can keep liking them tomorrow!

SilverySurfer · 12/12/2019 21:12

YouRemindMeOfTheBabelfish I'm amazed you haven't already turned into a zombie! Shock

MotherHeggy · 12/12/2019 21:13

I had a sleepless night last night,no way am I staying up late tonight!

turkeyontheplate · 12/12/2019 21:15

I will be. I have a politics=obsessed 17yo who is all ready with his duvet and his popcorn. It's going to be a tough night though.

PickAChew · 12/12/2019 21:16

Fuck that. I'll probably not make it long past the Newcastle vs Sunderland vote counting play offs.

Tiredmum1511 · 12/12/2019 21:18

Certainly late but I also have an essay to write

PanamaPattie · 12/12/2019 21:21

I'm in! I've got flat breads, dips and rhubarb and ginger gin.

Doje · 12/12/2019 21:27

Will see how I go.... if it looks like a definite Tory win I'll go to bed. If it's more of a cliffhanger I will try and stay up, maybe dozing on the sofa. I have a 4 year old to entertain tomorrow and a 'big night out' in the evening, so not a wise decision. But if needed I can put 4yr old in front of the telly so I can have a nap tomorrow afternoon.
