If so, how long do you think you will last before your eyelids droop and you nod off?

I reckon I can last until about 3ish.

I'm absolutely done in staying another 20 minutes and gone

Sad though

I'm not hostile to those who disagree with me, but the current ascending Government offers me nothing and has no interest in / doesn't represent someone like me.

It will be a cold light of day.

Healthypositivity · 13/12/2019 03:09

@Orangeslices998 well it's obvious that they don't. 'anti-Semite'is all I hear. I don't even think this is a 'general election'. It's a 'Brexit election'. The focus is just Brexit, and fuck the rest....Angry

OrangeSlices998 · 13/12/2019 03:14

@VanyaHargreeves You said it perfectly. The Tories don’t represent me or my views at all, and so it’s just a sad day.

VanyaHargreeves · 13/12/2019 03:24

Corbyn is basically resigning here, no?

Wowsers.

crosstalk · 13/12/2019 03:26

Jeremy Corbyn has just effectively resigned.

Healthypositivity · 13/12/2019 03:29

Really I turned the telly off because I couldn't watch him speaking without being so sad. I do feel for him and the country.

LucaFritz · 13/12/2019 03:31

Why would anyone vote for the Monster Raving Loony Party in such a vital election Hmm

PandancerandRabbitoplh · 13/12/2019 03:31

The BBC are saying he is staying on just will leave before next general election I think though only half awake atm

VanyaHargreeves · 13/12/2019 03:31

Basically he said that he wouldn't contest another election and would remain as leader during the post Election reflections and whilst the Leadership contest takes place.

VanyaHargreeves · 13/12/2019 03:33

Yeah I thought that was weird, he clearly didn't say that, he clearly meant he'd be Acting Leader til they licked their wounds and found someone else

SilverySurfer · 13/12/2019 04:12

I nodded off for an hour but back watching now - shocked Jo Swinson lost her seat although not a fan. Just noticed it said on BBC 'Corbyn - I will not lead party in next election.'

Kensington, the borough where 72 people died in Grenfell, has gone back to Tory.

Says it all really.

user764329056 · 13/12/2019 05:09

Yes, that Kensington vote sums it up

PhoneLock · 13/12/2019 05:58

Why would anyone spoil their ballot paper in such a vital election?

Yet there is a section of the MN community that was advocating that we all did.

ItalianinLondon · 13/12/2019 06:08

@LucaFritz haven't the Raving Loonies just won a majority?

Puzzledandpissedoff · 13/12/2019 06:17

Well, I couldn't go to bed after all so will look like a zombie later

Can't believe that the Momentum people are still trying to pretend it's not about what they've done to Labour, but hopefully sense will prevail. Otherwise, on numbers like this, they'll lose next time too
