If so, how long do you think you will last before your eyelids droop and you nod off?

I reckon I can last until about 3ish.

OrangeTwirl · 12/12/2019 22:19

No. I'll stay up until around midnight. I have to be up at 6am for work in the morning 😴

OwlinaTree · 12/12/2019 22:19

I'd never be rude to someone because they voted Tory. I'd be disappointed tbh if they work with me!! Times are really bad.

LucyLocketss · 12/12/2019 22:19

@Writersblock2 I don't tell people. I read FB and say nothing. Best way I find. It's an eye opener alright though

manicinsomniac · 12/12/2019 22:20

Interesting Kuponut, thanks.

I feel really sorry for McDonnell right now actually. He sounds like he just wants to go and drown his sorrows somewhere quietly and instead he's getting a real grilling. How to kick a man when he's down!

spacepyramid · 12/12/2019 22:20

Why would people wanting to Leave vote Tory? They haven't managed to do Brexit so far.

DoTheHop · 12/12/2019 22:21

Well done Silvery. Good choice.........

Keepmewarm · 12/12/2019 22:21

Nope. I have work tomorrow. I work in the nhs so might not have a job for much longer.

Kuponut · 12/12/2019 22:22

The other things they've done were to work with count staff (they use lots of bank tellers) to get the paper thickness right and try to get people to only fold papers once so they can open them once.

I see no news channel can pronounce Houghton as usual

thehorseandhisboy · 12/12/2019 22:23

Not staying up now.

Too sad and frightened.

Kuponut · 12/12/2019 22:24

The kids on the Sunderland count are from my old school though. Good job they never used me with my glorious PE prowess or they would never declare

Janus · 12/12/2019 22:25

Devastating, all those who voted Tory, I wonder how they will feel in 5 years time, too fucking late by then.

colouringinpro · 12/12/2019 22:28

I don't think I have enough alcohol in the house. SadSadSadSadSad

ChongADong · 12/12/2019 22:28

@Kuponut Grin

This is awful. If exit poll is any reflection of reality me and DH are fucked. I'm police. Looking forward to my pay freeze soon. 👌

absopugginglutely · 12/12/2019 22:31

Crown Sad so so so so sad.
I’m fucking gutted Crown Sad

Kuponut · 12/12/2019 22:33

I was pretty steeled for it - disappointed in human nature - but I usually am when on the internet and politics is concerned.

Just going to mention - did anyone else see the photo of Boris at Cons campaign hq earlier this week taking calls? I'm sure I saw MN on one of the PC screens behind him!

DoTheHop · 12/12/2019 22:34

Might be time to leave England. As they wanted.

TheClausSeason · 12/12/2019 22:35

Well. Shit.

Exit polls aren't always right though.

BertrandRussell · 12/12/2019 22:36

My dp and children can move to Ireland. Just me left here....

Ivgotasecretcanyoukeepit · 12/12/2019 22:37

These have been correct since 1992 I think

TattiePants · 12/12/2019 22:48

@Kuponut it sounds like we are neighbours. I can’t imagine a Tory MP in Sunderland so fingers crossed it doesn’t happen. Probably not long to wait now.

Kuponut · 12/12/2019 22:50

I'm not up there now but grew up there and all my family are still Labour activists and councillors - hence knowing how the lie of the land is!

rhubarbcrumbles · 12/12/2019 22:52

Thank god I have my home passport.

Kyvia · 12/12/2019 23:10

Well they’re not going to break the speed counting record!

Wonder if it’s close/there’s lots of spoiled ballots to check

HoHoHoik · 12/12/2019 23:11

It's a very close result, looking like a recount has been called

Thurmanmurman · 12/12/2019 23:17

Nope. DH is though, I've told him to let me know the results in the morning.
