Just interested as I've been really debating with myself this year and am not really convinced by any party

Anyone but the Tories.

I live in a highly contested seat. One of the "ones to watch", so it has to be a tactical vote. The Conservatives have had a decade in power, so they should be able to campaign on all of the amazing things they have done... But they can't, because they've don't nothing good so they are just relying on scaremongering and more empty promises. Why vote for more of the same? Why not give something different a try?

DioneTheDiabolist · 12/12/2019 01:29

People Before Profit. Trying to unseat the Sinn Fein arsehole.

brieandcrackers · 12/12/2019 01:40

I'm voting Labour as I love the NHS, and want to see an end to homelessness, poverty and societal inequalities (which we clearly won't get with racist/sexist/homophobic/xenophobic/classist BJ!) - after all, there's very little point in voting Tory to fix 9 years of the Tories! Wink

Unfortunately my constituency has been blue since the beginning of time itself, so my vote won't amount to much. But every little helps, and maybe the political landscape will be different one day Smile

monkeytennis97 · 12/12/2019 02:14

Labour. I'm a teacher and I have a severely disabled DC. However I live in a Tory stronghold...

MrsNoMopp · 12/12/2019 06:51

Why put a penis on the paper? Surely you can think of something else in the interests of equality Grin

MrsNoMopp · 12/12/2019 06:54

Not a fan of Labour, because Venezuela says it all...

RasberryRoyale · 12/12/2019 07:12

Labour (and it will hurt!) to stop the Snp candidate in my area. Anyone is better than the snp.

Itstheprinciple · 12/12/2019 07:18

Labour. Would have preferred Green or Lib Dens but Labour lead here with Tories second so didn't want to risk splitting the vote.

Reasons: don't want Brexit, do want NHS, do want £10 national minimum wage, do want more investment in things like Sure Start etc (made a massive difference to me when DD was a baby).

There are things I don't agree with, but for all the reasons above, i will vote Labour.

Please remember, you are not voting for JC. JC could resign next week for all we know.

Also remember, there was a global economic crash, caused by bankers. Not caused by Labour. Global. Economic. Crash.

beguilingeyes · 12/12/2019 07:19

Labour, many reasons but the most urgent issue right now is Brexit. I'm terrified of what a Tory Brexit will mean for the country and especially for the NHS.

PooWillyBumBum · 12/12/2019 07:19

Labour.

Tories approach to the EU is dangerous and they’re led by an overtly racist, homophobic, sexist idiot. Plus my Tory MP is a Brexiteer anti-abortion, anti-euthanasia nut who doesn’t give a shit about representing his constituency.

I dislike Labour’s approach to big business but see them as the lesser of two evils.

EleanorShellstrop100 · 12/12/2019 07:21

Labour, because Jeremy Corbyn

barbedwired · 12/12/2019 07:22

I will vote Tory
I am 'wealthy' by most standards it seems, however I create employment and never pay less than £10 an hour.

If labour got in I'd reconsider what I do.

BrusselPout · 12/12/2019 07:26

Labour, because I'm not a cunt.

That comment would suggest otherwise....and no I'm not a Tory voter, but this kind of attitude from some Labour supporters frankly puts some people off voting for them. It is one of the reasons people don't like talking politics, there is absolutely no room for reasoned discussion

ThebishopofBanterbury · 12/12/2019 07:27

Voting tactically for the Lib Dems. I would vote labour but it's a wasted vote in my area as they have never ever got in. The main aim is to keep Boris the lying Tories out.

HairyToity · 12/12/2019 07:30

Labour, even though I don't like Corbyn. He is far too left, would prefer someone centrist. Disillusioned with tories.

Snowy111 · 12/12/2019 07:35

Anyone but the tories

Labour for me, but we need to vote tactically

tactical-vote.uk/

TooManyHeadaches · 12/12/2019 07:35

voteforpolicies.org.uk/

I came out 30% con, %30 Lab, %30 brexit! so flipping equal then! No help!! (the other 10% were lib dems). No way I'd vote conservative, brexit are not standing in my area, so that leaves labour.

I was going to vote labour anyway so just confirms it!

Ringdonna · 12/12/2019 07:36

Tory, always.

Snowy111 · 12/12/2019 07:36

This website is sooooo easy to use

tactical-vote.uk/

notmuchtooffer · 12/12/2019 07:44

In a Labour safe seat so voting Lib Dem due to their being centrist and pro EU.

Would vote Labour to keep the Tories out, but there is no chance that our Labour MP won’t be returned.

speakout · 12/12/2019 07:47

Snowy111

Love the fact that web site doesn't work for Scotland- no issues there then!

emmetgirl · 12/12/2019 07:53

Lib Dem tactically whilst holding my nose. Yuck but they are the only ones that can unseat the Tory in this constituency (only a 312 majority at the last election).

GOODCAT · 12/12/2019 08:23

Conservative because Labour's spending plans will cause major economic problems for many years to come. Brexit will too but Labour will cost even more so it is the lesser of two evils.

A strong economy generates more for the NHS and everything else. As you weaken the economy by overspending you get in to a situation where you pay it back through increased taxes, reduced household incomes and you cut spending. That in turn weakens the economy and so it goes on.

We are just getting to a point where austerity measures were taken to get back on an evenish keel. As a country we still have to pay back the debts of the past yet Labour wants to go on a spending spree.

BrokenBrit · 12/12/2019 08:26

Labour.
NHS, schools, climate change and homelessness are all important issues to me.

Skyejuly · 12/12/2019 08:37

Been
Voted.
Labour

Not feeling too hopeful but I've done all I can :(
