Just interested as I've been really debating with myself this year and am not really convinced by any party

Labour, because I grew up so poor with absolutely nothing, I'm seeing children every day who remind me of myself as a child. Who have nothing and look so sad, I have always voted labour I'm a volunteer with them and I'm putting my faith in that they will end child poverty in the uk.

MaMaMaMySharona · 11/12/2019 16:09

I'm voting Labour. My seat is a very strong Tory one, but Labour are the next closest so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

My decision is based on absolutely despising the Tories and everything they stand for, what they've done over the past 9 years and the appalling way they've led their election campaign.

I'd probably vote for anyone to keep the Tories out, but glad that I can vote for Labour. I like Corbyn, he comes across as very genuine to me and his voting history says all I need to know.

Labour - I think if Boris stays in it’ll be the end of our NHS plus I have to think about my child’s future. What kind of future would we have with tories, look what they’ve managed so far

theworldhasgonecrazy1 · 11/12/2019 16:12

I have also always voted labour but this year after watching a few interviews I felt like maybe Lib Dem may be beneficial. However there is so little chance of them actually winning and I don't think I know enough about them to bother voting for them

Labour, I remember what it was like not being subdued and pissed on by the ruling class.

MaMaMaMySharona · 11/12/2019 16:14

@theworldhasgonecrazy1 if you don't want the Tories in, my suggestion is to check the results of the last election in your constituency and voting for whoever is most like to get them out/ keep them out.

I am voting Conservative as is husband. The reasons include Corbyn, Abbott, Milne, Momentum,........

Userwhatevernumber · 11/12/2019 16:17

OP everyone on this thread will come and tell you Labour because they seem to be dominating Mumsnet at the moment and coercing everyone else to do the same. If you don’t vote Labour you are a despicable piece of crap seems to be the general consensus.

I am votin for none of the major parties. You are allowed to vote for whoever you want, you know.

Rainbowhairdontcare · 11/12/2019 16:17

Labour only because I'm voting tactically. Otherwise I'm a LibDem at heart

Baaaahhhhh · 11/12/2019 16:18

voteforpolicies.org.uk/

This was an eye-opener. All the family did took this, and we had quite an interesting range. I got 60% for one party, and an equal 13% for three others..... you then get a list of which party you agreed upon for which policies. An interesting exercise in nothing else.

Baaaahhhhh · 11/12/2019 16:18

if not in grrrrrrr......

LouLouLoupee · 11/12/2019 16:20

Probably SNP as a tactical vote
I’d prefer labour to win the seat though

Ravenrob · 11/12/2019 16:21

Labour because I live in Scotland and I think the Conservatives and SNP have had their chance. We need change and I like what Labour are offering.

FabbyChix · 11/12/2019 16:22

Labour - the tories only make the rich richer always been that way

BarbedBloom · 11/12/2019 16:23

Labour. I did one of those vote for the policies not the party and found it interesting. I normally vote green but this time am voting to keep the Tories out.

Huggybear16 · 11/12/2019 16:24

@Baaaahhhhh I did that test, and got 50% Greens and 50% SNP. I think it's a great idea to take this test when considering your vote.

rhubarbcrumbles · 11/12/2019 16:25

I have no idea. Some of the tactical voting sites suggest one party and some suggest another in terms of getting the Tories out. I want to avoid splitting the 'Not Tory' vote and vote for whichever really is most likely - the Labour candidate is an unknown and the Lib Dem candidate does a lot locally. It's a hard decision to make.

Rainbowhairdontcare · 11/12/2019 16:25

I got 75%libdem 25%labour , what I expected give or take

Baaaahhhhh · 11/12/2019 16:27

OK - I'll come clean. None of the four parties I got was Labour Grin.

CendrillonSings · 11/12/2019 16:28

Conservative. Because Labour is economically illiterate and their leadership have a history of sympathising with half the extremist groups on the planet.

Mummyme87 · 11/12/2019 16:28

Lib Dem for a tactical vote. Tories pipped them in 2017, labour are nowhere in my constituency.
Tories need to go!

yolofish · 11/12/2019 16:28

Labour. I dont want to live in a country where there are more foodbanks than McDonalds; and I don't want the likes of Grease-Smugg and his maties to get even richer than they already are by removing the rights of ordinary working people. Wont make a blind bit of difference in my true blue constituency, but at least I will have the warm feeling of knowing it is 'not in my name' and perhaps having to watch the Tories clear up their own shit when it all goes tits up over the next 12 months, as indeed it will.
