Just interested as I've been really debating with myself this year and am not really convinced by any party

I can't vote in good conscience for any current political party.
There isn't a single one that believes women have the right to exist as a class, they all want to abolish The Equality Act itself, or sex as a protected characteristic.

Self ID will mean not only will we have to suffer mixed sex hospital wards, psychiatric wards & prisons; we wont legally be able to do anything about it.

So I will vote for No One and spoil my ballot.

Voting Tory, the party is not perfect but they have transformed life for adopters and adopted children, they are less discriminatory against religion. They have consistently raised take home pay for the lower paid. I like their manifesto and policies. Labour are too far left and I don’t want a bigger government that controls everything.

christmasathome · 11/12/2019 17:05

I really struggled this year. At my heart i am lib dem but they have no chance my constituency and while its labour held it is at risk of a tory take over. I really struggled with the thought of tactical voting and i hope I don't regret voting with my heart.

Milicentbystander72 · 11/12/2019 17:06

Normally Lib Dem (Labour way back in 1997 etc). This time it's Tory.

I'm in a safe Labour seat though.

icannotremember · 11/12/2019 17:08

Labour. I think their manifesto is fantastic. I am satisfied with their Brexit position. I do not support any Tory policies and genuinely fear their current leadership. Our local lib dem candidate is a good woman but I remember 2010.

imaflutteringkite · 11/12/2019 17:08

Labour here, although I do prefer some of the Green policies.

Catapillarsruletheworld · 11/12/2019 17:08

My area swings between conservative and Lib Dem, it’s currently conservative, but it was close last time.

I’m a labour supporter at heart, but as they have no chance where I live, I’ll be voting Lib Dem to keep the tories out.

yasle · 11/12/2019 17:09

I recycled my postal vote.
All the options are monstrous.

Ohyesiam · 11/12/2019 17:09

Labour
Because child poverty and the NHS

MidnightCircus · 11/12/2019 17:11

Tory. Which as I've always been Lib dem, feels bloody wierd. However, none of the parties fully appeal, and I don't want a hung parliament. Labour scare me (the speed and coatings of their policies just doesn't seem right to me), so realistically, I either abstain or go Tory as their manifesto agrees with me (marginally) better.

MidnightCircus · 11/12/2019 17:12

Costings not coatings*

AngeloMysterioso · 11/12/2019 17:12

Labour, again for the reasons MySharona stated.

I did the vote for policies quiz, picked one Tory policy, no Brexit policies and was otherwise a 3 way tie between Labour, Lib Dem and Green.

dappledsunshine · 11/12/2019 17:13

I know this will sound dense but how can I find out whether my area is a safe seat?

NameChangeNugget · 11/12/2019 17:15

Conservative. As I I’m in employment

RickOShay · 11/12/2019 17:15

Lib Dem tactical vote. My heart says Green. I despise the tories with every fibre of my being.
I work with people from difficult backgrounds.

theworldhasgonecrazy1 · 11/12/2019 17:16

@NameChangeNugget i'm also in employment? Any other reasons?

Echobelly · 11/12/2019 17:17

Voting Lib Dem - they are genuinely (not just by their own figures) second to Tories here, so have the best chance of getting them out. I have my reservations about them and their policies, but I want to at least send the message that the tories should be out, and they do have a very good candidate here. But I think Tories will get in again unless the LibDems inflict a major upset.

I think sometimes if one is not sure which party to vote for, look at the candidates and go for the candidate you like best from the party you dislike least!

DeadButDelicious · 11/12/2019 17:17

Labour. Because I have to believe that things can be better than this. I don't want another 5 years of this.

Treaclepie19 · 11/12/2019 17:18

I'm voting labour and so is my husband.
For all of the reasons already stated. I have a 4yo, I want the best for him and I feel that starts with labour.
Not that they have any chance. We live in a tory safe seat.

@dappledsunshine look at the voting history for your constituency. In my area it's so safe that the last election conservative got 69.8% of the votes and the next was labour with 25.3%.

dappledsunshine · 11/12/2019 17:21

@RoxanneMonke

Perfect thank you 😊

Treaclepie19 · 11/12/2019 17:22

And if I put my details in the website linked above, it says no tactical vote because there is no hope.

U2HasTheEdge · 11/12/2019 17:22

I still don't know. I am deciding between the Lib Dems and spoiling. I do not like the Lib Dem's stance on women's rights which is hugely putting me off for voting for them, however I think they are the best of a bad bunch.

Helmlover1 · 11/12/2019 17:25

Labour because I care about the NHS, the fact that homelessness and child poverty are on the increase and I support a people’s vote- along with many other reasons.
