Interesting someone has mentioned Lorraine. I remember her standing in for either Fern or Holly on TM years ago, but it only happened once and she’s never been asked back. Which is strange if you think about it as she should be a natural stand in for the show.

If he did have a relationship with a runner, there's every likelihood that it was consensual. Even with a large age gap, it's very different from Saville/Spacey sexual assault type charges.

I don't think there is any suggestion that anything illegal has taken place.

Whether it was ethical, given the power balance, or wise is a different matter. Also whether he's made it worse by lying about it and going for the sympathy vote.

Large age gap yes but also met when one was underage - not saying anything happened then but it's the same as meeting someone who just happened to work with you and is an adult.

Have a family member who worked with him in the early days of his TV career. It was well known that PS was gay (and certainly no secret) in the entertainment industry. As the poster above says ‘Watch this space!’ I have a feeling the runner is just the tip of a very big iceberg. I dread to think the kind of stuff that will come out....

His family have obviously known about it for years, they’re all involved. His daughter works as his manager so I imagine there have been concerted efforts to keep this quiet for some time
