@KipperBang I don't think anyone is really interested in PS's personal life. Certainly nobody cares whether he's gay or not.

People are curious as to why he has made it our business by publicly announcing it. The whole drama was/is so weird.

I (and I imagine many others here) am fed up with the media feeding me crap and expecting me to fall for it. It's not PS that people want to see fall particularly. Maybe those that really dislike him, but I get the impression most people don't give two tuppences about him. It's ITV and it's smarmy manipulations that we want to see exposed. We want to be told the truth for a change.

That's exactly what I think.

Irish telly show "Mr and Mrs" reruns fairly regularly. Caught it by accident while channel hopping and PS jovially introducing the "show that delves into how well couples really know each other" seems laughable at the moment

(I am paraphrasing, but that is the jist of his intro)

I’d suggest getting a hobby that doesn't involve day time TV. Or a job. Something like that

These kind of threads always attract at least one person who is morally outraged on behalf of the person being discussed. It’s an odd sort of phenomenon because the easiest thing is for that person to just leave the thread if they don’t like what’s being discussed, but it’s not worth getting side-tracked over IMO.

Don’t underestimate the work going on behind the scenes. I expect Holly is being untangled right now, and plans made for the two of them to “take a break” from TM. PS will be “taking some time out to find himself for his mental health” (sacked). And the newly introduced Sharon / Kelly duo (the masked singer / GMB( will take over.
The actual people you see on the screen have less power than you’d assume.
I suspect the Joan Collins prelude on GMB yesterday was all part of the plan. Piers had no need at all to mention the whole subject, he was there for the Oscars.
