Janus I mentioned that earlier, in that I thought it was really duff advice from whoever suggested she ask that question, or didn’t strongly advise that she didn’t.

If they’d just left it out, it would have avoided anyone being able to allege that they’d lied/dissembled about it. Seems a really odd decision to include it if everyone knew that his hand WAS being forced.

If the allegations about the runner are true, then I think the vast majority of the gay community are going to be absolutely appalled, and rightly so.

Good for Joan Collins. She’ll be blacklisted by itv as pp said and she clearly had no idea what was going on. It’s all so seedy. Even if there was no relationship or nothing actually inappropriate with MM the whole thing is blrrrgg. Clearly everyone knew he was gay (was ice included you’d hope!) but they’ve all had to go along with a big “coming out” song and dance.

I actually feel sorry for Ruth & E being dragged into it all so publicly as well. That article said they were only told at 7am on way to work after P, H and production all plotted it. I read a headline that Kieron Richardson, who plays Ste in Hollyoaks, said Philip Schofield helped him come out ten years ago, but I didn’t bother reading the article to see what it said.

Surely Martin Lewis has got to come out soon now? I always assumed he was gay until I saw his wife, she's absolutely drop dead gorgeous but he just doesn't seem straight to me?

I agree with tooEarly and other posters who’ve said that if you were gay - or even if you’d just been someone who’s been publicly supportive of PS so far - you might well be fuming about the way this seems to be playing out.
