I don't think the fighting with Ruth blew over... Bearing in mind I have only found out about their feud in the last two hours so I'm not a reliable source but in the video I saw where she hugs him, she seems to emphasise his wife and dd's being "the only ones who matter in this". If she hadn't have hugged him during his "brave" moment she probably would have been called all kinds of names.

Ruth will have been told to get in line and show support. I’m not keen on her but if both her and EH made a point of mentioning PS’s family then good on them. I wonder if Fern will say something, she’s a successful writer now isn’t she? Long time since she’s needed ITV’s cash.

Not Holly no, But the runner was on the scene for years. Others have also fallen out with him for vague 'professional relationship ambiguities'

@queenjaneapprox I had a very similar thought as I was watching the interview. That was before I knew about the young runner but even then it seemed like he was keen to point out to viewers that, if they felt deceived, Holly was as guilty of it as he was. Now there are potential #MeToo allegations it smacks of that even more strongly.

Don't forget Fern's career tanked after it was revealed she hadn't lost weight naturally but had had a gastric bypass - viewers were apparently upset by the deceit. And if the rumours about the runner are true this is much worse.

However, think it’s very Interesting that PS has chosen to speak to that particular rag. IMO, the S*n was probably about to expose PS’s sexuality, so they made a deal that he would make his own announcement on TM and then give ‘exclusive’ interviews to them. Makes sense now.

I loved it when Eammon said he never understood how Phil could sit in a hot tub with Holly and both their partners were OK with it. The fleeting panic in their eyes as they quickly moved on! There was an interesting story from the NTAs last week about how Philip had banned the studio runners from a private booth where they all were celebrating TMs win. Most people assumed he was being a dick and looking down his nose on the minions, but it’s taken on a whole new meaning today!

I think it’s becoming very clear that the papers are bound by one of these super injunctions. I wonder if this is when his wife found out.
