He has a lot of 'stuff' posted and PS first appears 5 years ago, the runner is clearly a bit impressed with PS, who seems quite happy to be included in this lad's online hall of 'look who I know' fame.
By included I mean the only one present. The stuff from years ago is just so doe eyed, as you'd expect a young man trying to get into TV to be when PS seems to be helping him!
It's so contrived it's already looking like a PR cock up from PS, but he is beloved enough to get away with anything.

I genuinely thought that everyone meant a runner as in Usain Bolt! Anyway, I think it's not a great surprise to a lot of people and, if all the very long-standing rumours are true, he's still lying as this isn't something he's recently come to terms with. The whole thing has been stage-managed to within an inch of its life, to pre-empt some revelation that was about to be made. I think the fawning over him yesterday was undignified, self-indulgent and typical of him. Good luck to him but I couldn't stand him before this announcement and think even less of him now as a result of how he's handled this situation.

Well it appears his wife was shattered by the news according to the Mirror online. So looks like she was deceived all these years.

If you Google the runner’s name there’s a Manchester Evening News article from 2014 about the boy (as he was then, 18yo) being invited to the TM studios by Schofield because he was the patron of the boy’s theatre company. So they go back a few years. The age thing is rather sleazy. Not illegal obvs, but sleazy.

What’s the betting his wife sells her story and is slightly less supportive when she’s had time to think?

The runner has shut down his accounts on Twitter - they were there a few hours ago. He has a couple. In the small bio on one of them he was pictured in This Morning studio and said he was runner to P & H.

He (runner) had a presenting showreel on You Tube that has also been removed. It was there a few hours ago and still viewable but I couldn't be arsed to watch it. It is now not viewable. He was sitting on a sofa with Pip.

True, it may well be in her interest that he remains the golden boy of itv. If he has no career her settlement may not be as good. Plus she may have to sign a non disclosure?

My view is that nothing will happen for a while till the heat is off and the divorce proceedings will start. If they aren't going well for her I suspect the stories might start coming out. At the moment she has nothing to gain by saying anything.

I’ve just looked on twitter and lots of people are all saying the same person’s name in connection with PS. If true, then there seems to be a 34 year age gap 😙 There’s more to all of this than meets the eye and I don’t buy into PS claiming it was just the right time for him to come out as gay. It seems it’s all aimed at damage limitation for brand Schofield.

I know my point of view on this is irrelevant but I had enjoyed the fact that he was a middle aged heterosexual man who appeared both kind and gentle and liked musicals.
As a mum to a kind and gentle boy who likes musicals who gets called gay by his friends it was fab for me to have a really clear role model to point towards.
That I find a bit sad.

Why would you think she wasn't? Of course she was shattered. He didn't tell her yesterday morning. She's probably known for months/years and has come to terms with it and is now supporting him. But that doesn't mean she wasn't shattered initially. I can't imagine too many people being nonchalant about their spouse telling them they are in fact gay.

I’d bet a million quid that this story had only come out because he has come under pressure, either from the media/ex-colleagues with beef/an ex gay lover to tell the truth or he’ll be outed anyway.

But he’s made sure to turn it all to his advantage hasn’t he with his “poor, brave Philip” act. I haven’t even watched it because I know it’ll have me seething! If she is smart and has taken good advice she will realise that the money and her kids D's welfare require the same thing right now.

He isnt gay, hes bisexual . He seems unable to accept that. I think part of it is that the cult of celebrity is only too willing to gush and celebrate about someone coming out as gay but i cant recall anyone recently coming out as bisexual . It doesnt have the same cache or celeb status. He is bisexual because he has found sex with a woman sexually fulfilling. Hes attracted to women,hes had sex with them.

At what point did he decide or recognise he was bisexual? IMHO he has utterly deceived his poor wife who has structured nearly 3 decades of her life around what she thought was a normal relationship with children etc. Now suddenly he drops the bomb and she is forced or expected to suck it up and smile.

Another thing, how many men,if any,has he been playing around with behind her back??
