I'm so sick and tired of hearing about his bloody sexuality. I dont care. I always found the man slimy, arrogant and sly. Now suddenly he's a "hero" for saying he's gay? FGS- plenty of people are gay and just get on with their lives and dont demand weepy and gushing accolades about how amazing and brilliant they are.

So, cheating on his wife with a 23 year old junior employee then? Grim. (Irrespective of gender)

If Eamon Holmes had shagged a female runner 34 years his junior and then had her bumped from TM to Loose Women (and that's very definitely not a promotion) to save his reputation then not a soul would believe he was a hero. He would be hailed as a shitbag and his career would be over. It's this double standard that apparently caused a rumpus behind the scenes at the NTA and forced his hand.
