It seems like the stories about the old silver fox are ramping up. Feel like there's more mileage in this one that we know...

Autocorrect- fucking not ticking!

TheQueef · 09/12/2019 13:19

Gordon was last seen working as a security guard at poundstrecher in Scunthorpe, addicted to prescription pain killers. Sad
He can't even squeak any more.

Sagradafamiliar · 09/12/2019 13:35

Philip has always been sycophant to anyone who is successful and patronising to those deemed beneath him. His attempts at being a hard-hitting journalist when politicians come on This Morning are an absolute cringe.
It comes to something when people prefer Eamon Holmes, the rudest, most condescending curmudgeon out there.

DingDongSchadenfreudeOnHigh · 09/12/2019 14:11

Queef

Heartbreaking!

I bet he could write a squeak-and-tell story that would make all of our ears hair stand on end!

DingDongSchadenfreudeOnHigh · 09/12/2019 14:12

That is the acid test.

Womenwotlunch · 09/12/2019 14:13

PS us a prick of the highest order.
Can’t bear him

Fastsazer · 09/12/2019 14:23

I like PS him and Holly make a great team presenting we love their banter and laughing comments sound a bit sour jealousy he would be gutted to think he made inappropriate comments and was offensive in any way hey it makes us human so sorry to disagree give the guy a break XN

ThatSeventiesLass · 09/12/2019 14:30

Many years ago I was in a TV advert with Eamonn Holmes. It was filmed in Castle Court in Belfast. There was a lot of standing around but Eamonn couldn't have been nicer. He was very warm and chatty and as nice in camera as off.

DioneTheDiabolist · 09/12/2019 14:30

How do you know he'd be gutted Fastazer? For all you know, he's just pissed off that his unpleasantness is becoming common knowledge.

Sagradafamiliar · 09/12/2019 14:43

Eamonn is highly spoken of at times and remains professional, I have no doubt. But I've also seen him talking down to young women in unfortunate circumstances on national television with an amused look on his face, and being a dick to his wife. Ruth is invested enough in him to accept it as one of his traits as she loves him, but as a viewer, I just think 'what a prick'.

NumbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrsStation · 09/12/2019 14:52

I bring good tidings.

Mr Gopher won the euromillions and is now my boss. He is currently getting it on with Hamble and Jemima. Soo was around for a bit but was clearly in it for the money and Mr Gopher is wise to those who are self serving.

talking of which, word round here is that pip is fuming because Mr Gopher is no longer able to be kept quiet and out of it on pills.

Mr Gopher now remembers just how enthusiastic Pip was with his hand
or should that be fist
thanks to a lengthy stint in the priory.

A tell all book is in the offing. Be afraid pip.

Mr Gopher has his squeak back and he isn’t afraid to use it.

Ruth and Eamonn have the exclusive interview.

ThatSeventiesLass · 09/12/2019 14:52

Yes, I remember thinking that when he couldn't seem to understand why women might not want to be intimately examined by a TW.ConfusedHmm

maggieryan · 09/12/2019 15:41

I like him, always did. cant stand holly

Freesunglasses · 09/12/2019 16:22

Anyone watch this morning earlier? I thought Philip was quieter than usual and they just didn't seem right. Twitter is having a field day with them both!

DingDongSchadenfreudeOnHigh · 09/12/2019 16:25

Mr Gopher has his squeak back and he isn’t afraid to use it.

Hooray!

Mary46 · 09/12/2019 16:25

Apparently he cut Ruth off mid air as his show was finishing but she looked livid! Maybe he had time constraints. I do feel he got smug. No love lost him and Amanda Holden

DingDongSchadenfreudeOnHigh · 09/12/2019 16:26

Perhaps he isn't feeling his usual self? Could he be sober?

Just a thought

ThatSeventiesLass · 09/12/2019 17:10

He was very quiet the Monday after the fall out from the Cameron interview, where he produced a page of names of MPs from the internet in the aftermath of the Savile scandal. Cameron didn't even glance at it, rightly so. But by Tuesday Schofield was back to his usual self.

ManonBlackbeak · 09/12/2019 17:20

He didn't appear after the Cameron interview, he was given compassionate leave and poor Ruth was left to apologise on his behalf.

HeIenaDove · 09/12/2019 17:37

@Sceptre86 Rylan will be part of Channel 4s election night coverage.

@Whattodoabout Fearne Cotton seems nice. Going by her column in Red magazine.

Gingerninja01 · 09/12/2019 17:44

He comes across as really smug and fake. Him and Holly giggling all the time, I can really imagine them being like school bullies taking the piss out of people not in their little in crowd.

Whattodoabout · 09/12/2019 17:50

@helenadove Fearne Cotton is a delight, my friend works specifically with Fearne and loves her. Holly not so much...

RJoneszy · 09/12/2019 17:56

Can't stand him!

JolieOBrien · 09/12/2019 18:01

I just watched todays programme on catch up and there was definately some kind of conflict going on between them. I think Phil should take some time off and let someone like Matt Baker from the One Show should take over. I think him and Holly are of a similar age and would have more in common with the younger viewers.

Evilmorty · 09/12/2019 18:10

He cut her off mid stream in February though, something else more recent must have happened.
