It seems like the stories about the old silver fox are ramping up. Feel like there's more mileage in this one that we know...

Matt Baker seems very genuine and kind as opposed to PS who just gets more arrogant. But PS and HW have also been wheeled out, dressed up to the nines, for the Dancing On Ice launch. Apparently the atmosphere was awkward there as well. PS with his arm round HW’s waist is all a bit cringey if the rumours of a fall out are true.

Odious little man and Tory arse licker Angry

staydazzling · 09/12/2019 18:39

I like Ruth, and as Funny as Eammon is sometimes the sniping married couple is painful to watch, me and my friend joke about one day she bump him off/have him kidnapped or something Grin just so she can get a word in.

FreeStar · 09/12/2019 19:12

Surely it's no his fault ithat the BBC have gender pay discrepancies.

JolieOBrien · 09/12/2019 19:22

@staydazzling

Ruth obviously adores the little fat Irish man ... I would have left him years ago but I am not that into Irish men. Wink

FenellaVelour · 09/12/2019 20:18

Mr Gopher won the euromillions and is now my boss. He is currently getting it on with Hamble and Jemima

What about poor Glenda?

I loved Gordon as a kid, and liked PS. Now, I think PS is an appalling, irritating arse and I won’t have him on my TV.

Glenda prefers knitting these days. She doesn’t worry about the ménage a trois as long as Gordon keeps her in wool and gin.

I think Glenda is my spirit animal . . .

I'm afraid success has turned Philip into a monster and he needs someone to tell him is not as successful as he thinks he is. Karma will bite him on bum imho.

CurlyTwirlyTwos · 10/12/2019 05:27

About 20 years ago a well known source told me PS was known to flitter around the the gay scene. I didn't watch TM (or any daytime tv) until mat leave - I hugely surprised that he was married with kids!! I assumed he'd come out years ago Grin

JolieOBrien · 10/12/2019 05:29

@CurlyTwirlyTwos

Really? Well I never ....

absopugginglutely · 10/12/2019 08:53

Interesting thread.
I became quite invested when on maternity leave and enjoyed their giggling fits (not a popular thing to say on my I know!)
I was incandescent when I saw them doing a selfie with BJ yet playing Paxman with JC.
They are mainstream litter who just make sure they appeal to the mainstream uk all the time but probably losing who they really are in the process.
IRL all toxic “friendship” groups implode in the end and I think that what we're all witnessing now.
Fearne Cotton left celeb Juice and Rufus hound earlier on, all the genuine people jump ship. Dan Baldwin Holly’s husband and successful TV producer is at the top of that programme.
In Fearne Cotton’s podcasts she often alludes to removing yourself from toxic environments and her friendship with Holly W is something that they both capitalised on.

beautifulstranger101 · 10/12/2019 08:59

I always suspected he was secretly a complete arse. Theres something shifty about him- and yes, agree about the smugness other people have also picked up on. I also agree that he's everywhere on tv and Im sick to the back teeth of seeing him. I wish he'd just piss off.

dayswithaY · 10/12/2019 09:03

I think you're right absopuginlutely. Whenever you see the smug little friendship groups going on hols together they always implode eventually. Fearne seems like she's really evolved as a person while Holly is stuck in her mainstream daytime world. I'm guessing she's realised that Philip is not as popular as she thought and doesn't want to damage her own brand. Jumping ship will be difficult. Can't stand either of them but she may be very different away from him. Little weasel.

Have the Daily mail finished with Meghan Markle now? Seems like it's Phil's turn now! I can't see any evidence for a feud between Phil, Holly, Fern or anyone- fake news!

Beefcurtains79 · 11/12/2019 07:55

@freestar I have no idea about Holly however the problems with Phil and Fern has been pretty well documented over the past few years, and indeed at the time of her being forced out the door at This Morning.

You can’t have been looking too hard, ‘fake news’ indeed.

ItsCommonSense · 11/12/2019 19:13

There are more 'stories' today. Makes me think that there is something that the press can't report (usually a super injunction )

AllYouGoodGoodPeople · 11/12/2019 19:21

Yes the DM are certainly trying to hint at something but are being too vague for me Grin C'mon give us a hint! At least with the Hugh Bonneville and Ryan Giggs super injunctions you knew exactly what the "look at this family man" articles were really about.

ThatSeventiesLass · 11/12/2019 19:40

I too think there is definitely something going on that the DM has been prevented from reporting. They really have it in for him.

BeardedMum · 11/12/2019 19:53

I stopped watching TM when did Phil and Holly came on. I really like Fern Britten.

DingDongSchadenfreudeOnHigh · 11/12/2019 21:09

I'm warming to the DM . . .
