No other contribution, they just wanted to get that in there in the hope of a 'PMSL, User12345567 won the internet today!!!!!! '

YANBU, although I thought on reading your thread title that you were talking about twee insults to the OP such as 'aren't you a delight' or 'you sound like hard work'.

But the one I really really hate is when the OP is talking about something serious like sexual abuse and someone comments about their 'spidey senses' - which would be OK if cliched in a 'lighthearted' (hate that too) thread but just horribly insensitive in this context.
