To not cover up...

First post so hope I'm doing this right...probably TMI at times! Sorry about that!

My DH and I have one DS now 4yo. I have always been body confident and don't want to raise kids that are ashamed of their bodies.

I don't wear PJs, I always wear underwear on my bottom half but rarely on the top. DS regularly gets into bed with us first thing in the morning.

DH is now saying he is too old to see my body and I should cover up. I knew at some point it might get odd but I didn't think that would be a early as four!

Thoughts?

I've two dds 4 and 18m, I find myself walking around in knickers a lot as they never give me 5 bloody minutes to get dressed!

My mum would often be in her underwear and I found it so embarrassing so I will definitely stop in the next couple of years. At 17 I remember my mum wondering why my boyfriend didn't want to come around and it was because she'd be in a tshirt and knickers, she'd say "this is my house I'll dress how hmmm comfortable", awful

I breastfed DC1 until he was 2 and shared baths with him. Since he stopped bf and went up a stage at nursery, he is fascinated by willies and bums and "milkies" as he calls boobs. I've naturally been more covered up since then. I'm bf DC2, so obviously he does see boobs, but I do try to keep covered, as if he's in bed with us both he will try and sneak a drink!

DH otoh is a free willy sort and isn't bothered by it.
