Bare bum in dressing room , AIBU.

I take DS to swimming. I got the times wrong turned up for the wrong lesson. I decide to go back to the changing room to wait. I find it hard to breath in the pool area, 30 minutes is ok, an hour and I can feel my asthma begin to act up.

There is a dad there getting his daughters dressed (fine) he was in the pool and he's down to his underwear.

Another dad arrives with his son, him and my DS are in the same lesson.

Anyways dad of daughters decides to get dressed... he drops his pants and is stark naked in front of his daughters. He is also by the door so if another parent was coming in their child would have walked into his penis! And it wasn't less than a minute because he was drying himself as well 🤢...

There are cubicles. He could have used a towel as well.

Why would and adult choose to get naked in a dressing room at a swim lesson for children with strangers around.

AIBU to find it bizarre?

His bum was also hairy and unattractive 🤢.

Did you read all of? Did I criticise his bottom or did I just say it was hairy..

With a sick emoji! I'd say that was criticism.

rowrowrowyaboat · 27/11/2019 21:18

So will you be using the mens changing room again op? Or do you still feel entitled to use it?

notthemum · 27/11/2019 21:20

It doesn't matter if it was a school or leisure centre .
YOU WERE IN THE MENS !
The poor sod probably went home and told his dp that there was a fucking woman in the men's changing area. Just sitting there.
If I was the do I would have been straight on the phone asking them to out up a notice telling people to stick to their allocated changing areas.

I am confused. I asked if you were Australian and you said "I am indeed" and then asked why I was scathing. I certainly wasn't scathing in my comment about you being Australian.

Then answering someone else you said you didn't grow up in Australia but had been to the beach in Perth.

There is no way you could of spent anytime here and not known what changeroom or Toilet you used. We are not some bac kwood country.

pinkboa · 27/11/2019 21:39

@blackfred

I said if MY comments were scathing. Because from what I wrote I was lamenting how great and convenient I found the family rooms there.

Lived there... children born there.... I didn't go swimming except the beach. I went in my gear... swam... dried and went home. I wasn't that far away.
You are clearly offended because you didn't take the time to read... but it's ok. We all skim read and misconstrue.

@zaffa

He wasn't drying... that makes even more odd!

@spanglydangly
I said what I said. Have I been arguing.. or did I accept literally after about 5 replies in...man you are reaching now.

I mean I might be batshit crazy, but think about it I'm not the one on some random thread attempting to prove a point... repeatedly despite someone saying shaadup! It takes one crazy person to identify another.

@spacepyramid

That dad and his son are always in there... as I have also said. His son and mine do the same class. But it's still empty...

EarringsandLipstick · 27/11/2019 21:42

OP I've read the entire thread & I've finally reported you. I did assume it was made up, and your 'facts' make no sense whatsoever (eg swimming lessons for 2 year old where parents aren't in the water but there's a 1:2 ratio. Rubbish)

But either way your replies, IMO, are pure goady & pretty nasty & hence my report

makingmammaries · 27/11/2019 21:44

Unfortunately my asthma is improved by humidity. How do I get to see a bare hairy arse?

MrsFoxPlus4Again · 27/11/2019 21:44

Iv just came back and I’m very surprised the Op is still here 😂

Schuyler · 27/11/2019 21:45

@pinkboa

We may not agree and I think you’re bonkers but I think I like you. You’re hilarious. Grin what a thread!

rowrowrowyaboat · 27/11/2019 21:46

Op do you care that you probably made the man getting changed feel v uncomfortable? Why did you not leave the changing room at the point it was obvious he was going to undress?

FrangipaniBlue · 27/11/2019 21:53

Op do you care that you probably made the man getting changed feel v uncomfortable?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say no she couldn't give a fig. OP was warm and dry and comfortable and that's what matters right?

TulipCat · 27/11/2019 21:55

Well I have had a jolly old day checking in on this thread. Loving the new addition that the OP would also happily use the gents loo if there's a queue at the ladies. I have visions of you climbing up onto the urinals if the cubicles are taken when you get in there in your batshit determination not to queue! 😂 😂 😂

user1480880826 · 27/11/2019 21:56

@pinkboa I’m not projecting anything. You criticised his bum for being hairy. You put a f***g vomiting emoji next to the comment. You can’t pretend it was anything other than a complaint about the appearance of a mans bum.

I can’t believe you’re still trying to defend yourself. 26 pages and counting of people app agreeing that you a barking mad for complaining about a man getting changed in a men’s changing room where there were no cubicles. 26 pages of you being told how inappropriate it was for you to go into the men’s changing room. Yet here you are still trying to convince us that we’re all wrong.

You saw a naked man in a space designated for naked men and you are STILL appalled by it.

ringme · 27/11/2019 22:00

It’s a shame the other mumsnet user posing as the man (who’s bare hairy arse is the one the OP is complaining about) had their thread taken down ...it was far more amusing.

And it wasn't less than a minute because he was drying himself as well 🤢...

Greeni · 27/11/2019 22:17

The dad and son are always in there but it’s still empty.
Are they ghosts? Pictures on the wall? In your imagination?

You’re batshit and self entitled thinking you can use the men’s because you want to. Hope he reported you to the school.

Lipperfromchipper · 27/11/2019 22:21

@pinkboa GIVE IT UP....you are embarrassing yourself!! You sound like a fucking weirdo to be honest!!

Cryalot2 · 27/11/2019 22:22

Am I right? You are female and went into the male changing room to wait and and complain because you saw the hairy backside of a man?
Surely there was somewhere else for you to wait (like reception) . He could have complained about you being there.

pinkboa · 27/11/2019 22:27

@TulipCat

If it was full I would leave. But one word "she-wee"... urinals don't stand a chance!

@EarringsandLipstick

Ok. If you did in fact read you would have seen mums-nets response. But hope it made you feel better.

And yes there are lessons where I do not need to be in the water with my 2 year old. Lessons where the ratio is 2:1 and lessons I am happy to continue with.... one should really not think that because they are used to something happening one way it can't happen any other way...

@MrsFoxPlus4Again

Man I have nothing else to do today and this is very entertaining.

@rowrowrowyaboat

Well it's not like I could see his face? His back was turned to me 😐.

@user1480880826

Once again projecting... unfortunately I'm not a white screen.. so it's all lost on me ☹️.

@ringme
Dammit! Can't believe I missed that!

OP posts:
Ravingstarfish · 27/11/2019 22:32

if it was full I would leave.

Except you didn’t. 2 men, 3 kids, all in the right place and you sat there with a tiny toddler watching them like a complete weirdo

TriangularRatbag · 27/11/2019 22:34

Haha!!

Grin
pinkboa · 27/11/2019 22:34

@Lipperfromchipper
Give up what exactly? I am not fighting for anything, in fact I have long accepted I am wrong. But this is too good not to keep replying because people do not read properly.

@Greeni
Well if we are comparing a full room to one with two people it's still relatively empty. I am entitled... as are you! And so is he to make a complaint. But as I've found we are always arriving at the same time and leaving at the same time and only ever exchanging a good morning while we get our kids ready for a lesson no nudity or impropriety involved I'd be shocked if he did... but not surprised.

OP posts:
pinkboa · 27/11/2019 22:36

@Ravingstarfish

WTH... how are your pearls? Or rather straws doing...

That conversation as I recall it was about using a men's toilet if the ladies had a long queue... nothing to do with a changing room...

Man!
