Glad you agree Also, pity the many Labour supporters on here don't share your view and tie themselves up in knots trying to dismiss anyone who dares to refer to or criticise the anti-semitism within the Labour Party, most notably any Jew who raises those concerns.

Lots of intereting issues on the thread . If one person finds something offensive that is not in English law any grounds not to make that comment. Many many fundamentalist Christians and Muslims find gay men deeply deeply offensive and hope they will burn in hell but they have no right to stop gay men holding hands in public.

What we need (and I think Labour and the Tories are both committed to this) is a UK where there is a right to offend and if people get upset we need to help them learn to grow a thicker skin.

The thing is, he apologise by saying things were taken out of context or similar.

Never, yes actually I can see now that it’s been explained to me why it’s problematic .... which means that he has people telling him why how he’s said things are an issue and he either can’t understand why or just doesn’t care.
