I'm too angry about brexit. And the effect it'll have on us all. I can see a tory majority happening and it sickens me. I don't know what's happened to ordinary people. They've fell for something that will make their lives worse, sold to them by an elite that has shafted them.

I can't fucking bare it.

Only comfortable with Tory lies are you

If you’re happy with Corbyn lying about antisemitism in his party, well, that’s on you!

Jux · 19/11/2019 22:33

Bluntness agree. Can't bear her attempt at winsome.p and appealing. She's ghastly, and talks bollocks. LibDems have simply gone downhill since Ashdown/Kennedy years.

Deathgrip · 19/11/2019 22:35

I like his policies for living wage and abolishing zero hours contract but the idea of a second referendum is bollocks.

So the tories want to proceed regardless, even if it’s no deal which we know will be incontrovertibly bad for the country (the economy, the NHS, access to medications and food, border problems, NI, workers rights etc etc).

Lib Dems want to revoke. No questions, no discussion, just revoke.

And yet your criticism is of the man who thinks the reasonable thing to do is to give people the right to a say on the actual plans, not just an unknown hypothetical and a bunch of lies?

Bizarre.

Chill out lovely whatever will be will be.

Maybe you can “chill out” about it. I can’t. I have two disabled children and a government committed to crushing disabled people. Every single thing they need, be it medical, education, social care, disability benefits is a Herculean struggle which has nearly shattered my mental and physical health.

And when I see the leader of the country lying through his teeth and demonstrating complete contempt for the electorate in the process, and people still thinking he’s a decent leader, and people still parroting ridiculous right wing press soundbytes Wigg no substance, it’s very very difficult to “chill out”.

Royallyscrewed · 19/11/2019 22:37

@Deathgrip you also left off the stealth sale of minor injuries clinics and community clinical services to virgin care since Cameron resigned- most notably seems to happened without a public tender process. Doesn’t appear to have been voted on, debated or even mentioned.
No clear policies on Gibraltar or Falklands whilst trump is using the FI’s ownership to leverage his relationship with Argentina, promising he’ll intervene.
Just finger pointing, name calling and xenophobia rather than reasonable ideas or opinions from the tories.

JeffreeStar · 19/11/2019 22:37

@Deathgrip they are not crushing disabled people. So dramatic. I’m not arguing with you so end of discussion.

ssd · 19/11/2019 22:38

Bluntness of course he wants to win

Don't talk shite

@happyandsingle - it would literally take you geo seconds to fo to their website and read their proposal on brexit. I dont understand how you cant grasp putting a vote back to the people for a final say. They want to negotiate a sensible agreement with the EU and then put it back to the public for a vote I.e. do we want this version of Leave or Remain.

I fail to see what is hard to understand about that. It also explains why JC is non-committal about 'getting brexit done' as opposed to gung-ho bully boy Bowis. JC actually gives a shit about people. Scary prospect, I know.

MustardScreams · 19/11/2019 22:40

@JeffreeStar are you blind or just wilfully ignorant?

Have you had to fight against the government for a family member or friend to the point where you just physically cannot go on any longer?

It does not have to be like that, and it shouldn’t. Disabled people aren’t second class citizens, like the scum Tories would have people believe.

ssd · 19/11/2019 22:40

Deathgrip, ignore jeffreestar, obviously they can't answer you so choose to run away instead.

@CendrillonSings I dont think JC has a racist bone in him. Boris on the other hand.... if you're comfortable with a leader calling black people picanninies, then I'm afraid that's on you.

Figmentofmyimagination · 19/11/2019 22:42

Johnson is regaining all that lost weight. I thought he looked porky.

Soen · 19/11/2019 22:43

It's all that Etonian pig-fuckery, Figment 😉

Jux · 19/11/2019 22:44

One thing which could sway me (definitely no idea who I'll vote for atm) would be an undertaking to stop HS2 and plough whatever's left from that into smaller infrastructure projects all over the country. Here in the SW for example, we have few buses, trains which can't run in bad weather, few stations anyway, no trams (trams would solve a lot of problems), water rates the highest in the country but pipes constantly bursting and sending sewage down the High Street for days (almost every year - not just in my town either), potholes you wouldn't believe,..... I can go on and on and on.

JeffreeStar · 19/11/2019 22:44

Thats socialists for you though. Expecting everyone to pay for your families. Expecting handouts likely right and centre then complaining about the nhs being stretched etc you had kids you pay for them.

MustardScreams · 19/11/2019 22:44

@JeffreeStar these people? What the fuck do you mean by that?

Greggers2017 · 19/11/2019 22:44

Where do you all think JC will get his money from? Can you not remember the last recession that labour caused?
And this is coming from a miners daughter who works in the NHS.

cannycat20 · 19/11/2019 22:44

@EverdeRose I fail to see how Boris's untamed mop of thatch and his trousers constantly at half-mast under his belly can count as well-groomed. Though I do grant you those Savile Row tailors make sure the shoulder pads fit. Grin

MustardScreams · 19/11/2019 22:45

@JeffreeStar you could have done with some of Jeremy’s free education by the sounds of it.

zaffa · 19/11/2019 22:46

I'm sorry @JeffreeStar just to clarify - by these people do you mean disabled people??

Who do you think should look after our society? Genuinely? You think it should be a complete self centred approach with no social policy or provision for those that find themselves unable to fend for themselves, most likely through no fault of their own???

Soen · 19/11/2019 22:46

Newsflash: The recession was global.

RockinHippy · 19/11/2019 22:46

Seemingly it was fairly even, 51 percent to Johnson

The yougov twitter account that comes from is a Tory run Twitter account. Given that a genuine unbiased Twitter poll put Corbyn 78% ahead about 10 minutes ago. I call bullshit

JeffreeStar · 19/11/2019 22:47

I think disabled people’s families should help them. If they haven’t got families that’s when the government can step in.

If you can't understand Labour's Brexit policy, you really should educate yourself.

My understanding is - JC's policy is let the people decide. Only they did. In 2016. I've not said who I'm going to vote for because it's matter-less. I absolutely disagree that as a supposedly democratic country that labour can ignore the majority vote - and I think this is labour's downfall.

Whether you're a brexiteer or a remainer - we can't twist and turn to suit.
