I'm too angry about brexit. And the effect it'll have on us all. I can see a tory majority happening and it sickens me. I don't know what's happened to ordinary people. They've fell for something that will make their lives worse, sold to them by an elite that has shafted them.

I can't fucking bare it.

Jeffree
" I also don’t feel I should be Providing a lifestyle for these ppl either."

These people?? Are you for fucking real??

user1471510720 · 19/11/2019 22:48

Basically it can be summed up like this, JC becomes PM, were all doomed, except himself and his cabinet of course. BJ becomes PM still bad but nowhere near as catastrophic as JC.

Least this wasn’t on the BBC where it’s become Labours propaganda machine.

ssd · 19/11/2019 22:48

JeffreeStar, you should ask for a refund then. You clearly didn't learn much.

MustardScreams · 19/11/2019 22:48

The rescission wasn’t caused by Labour 😂 Honestly are the Tories going to manage to get anyone with half a brain cell to argue their corner anytime or...?

Soen · 19/11/2019 22:48

The government can step in? What?? You mean like.... a welfare state???

happyandsingle · 19/11/2019 22:49

So basically ignore the democratic vote first time round to leave and keep voting till we get the vote they really want.
What kind of message does that send out? What is the point of any vote in the first place if it can be over ruled?

Soen · 19/11/2019 22:50

Whether you're a brexiteer or a remainer - we can't twist and turn to suit.

Oh but we can. That's democracy in action. If something doesn't work, we vote for a better solution.

JimmyGrimble · 19/11/2019 22:50

Boris has one issue. ‘Get Brexit Done’ and he’s lying about that. Like he’s lied about it over and over again. Corbyn won’t say how he feels about Brexit because it doesn’t fucking matter what he thinks. It’s about what the people, knowing what we know now, think about it.

Greggers2017 · 19/11/2019 22:52

All the stupid benefits they brought in? Sure start grant, healthy start voucher, child trust fund? Money has to come from somewhere.
Now Corbyn is saying ridiculous things like 12 months paid maternity leave, free broadband. Where is the money coming from? 🤷‍♀️

Deathgrip · 19/11/2019 22:52

they are not crushing disabled people. So dramatic. I’m not arguing with you so end of discussion.

Oh they’re not?

Cutting disability benefits?
Paying taxpayer money to companies like ATOS to produce assessments full of lies which are used to leave them with nothing?
2/3 of the people affected by the bedroom tax? Disabled.
Disabled people disproportionately more likely to rely on food banks, in poverty, homeless, not in school.

Have you ever had to apply for an EHCP for a disabled child? Do you even the slightly clue what that’s like when local authorities are running at a £3bn deficit, expected to be £8bn by 2024?

No they shouldn’t be of course not. But I also don’t feel I should be Providing a lifestyle for these ppl either.

These “ppl”? My children were born with serious disabilities. One has brain damage. What do you propose we do - drown them in a river?

I managed a career with a disability etc I power through rather then lay back and moan.

Good for you. My children can’t talk and don’t understand words. You’re lucky you have a disability you can “power through”.

Soen · 19/11/2019 22:52

Happyandsingle - I'm not entirely sure what 'message' was supposed to be sent out in the first referendum. It was as clear as mud. Again, this is democracy in action. The result is shit, so let's have another vote.

longtimelurkerhelen · 19/11/2019 22:52

@user1471510720 You are talking shite

I think I must be living in alternate reality. HOW CAN ANYONE VOTE TORY FFS

Please any tory voter, tell me which of their policies you like?

zaffa · 19/11/2019 22:52

Did you @JeffreeStar ? You paid for private school education or did you access the education provided by the state? Education that in effect, I pay for through my taxes. Did you access NHS health services for your disability or continue to pay for full private health care? Did your parents access any additional benefits to help with your care, like specialist services available as opposed to a specific monetary value?

Because if you do, be aware that I'm paying for those, as is every person on this forum. And whilst I can't speak for them, even though I think your views are abhorrent and you're pretty despicable to speak of anyone with a disability like this, I still don't begrudge paying for them.

JimmyGrimble · 19/11/2019 22:53

The Leave campaign is still being investigated for ... lies. Another report we won’t be seeing until after the election. They lied. They broke the rules on campaign contributions. They tried to manipulate people via Facebook. Fuckinell.

Yappy12 · 19/11/2019 22:53

I hope Boris wins a decent majority and we can GET BREXIT DONE.

Deathgrip · 19/11/2019 22:53

Now Corbyn is saying ridiculous things like 12 months paid maternity leave, free broadband.

Why don’t you read a single solitary story about it rather than believing headlines? Christ alive, it’s despressing.

Soen · 19/11/2019 22:54

@Greggers2017 - try looking at the billionaire tax-dodging companies. There's your first clue.

Yappy12 · 19/11/2019 22:54

Corbyn's okay, a decent man maybe but not PM material. You need a strong stable PM like Boris.

sunglasses123 · 19/11/2019 22:55

The Conservatives aren’t great at the moment and Labour could have taken the opportunity to become a real threat at the next GE. Instead they have been taken over by a bunch of nutters, 4 day week, free broadband, free university, no zero hours contracts (they are nothing new, in my day they were called casual labour) and very much suit students and people that don’t want a permanent role. Wasn’t McDonnell on the front line demanding that Macdonalds staff be paid £13.50 per hour. More than nurses??

Putting Labour in would put us back into the old days of the unions holding the country to ransom. So I think Boris will win on 12th and hopefully with a healthy majority and we can move on. I don’t see Corbyn et al being allowed to stay in place if they get a bashing.

HappydaysArehere · 19/11/2019 22:55

I agree with ssd. Angry beyond words about Brexit and now we are landed with a Johnson and our only other option is Corbyn.
Watched Jo Swinson who I will vote for but she needs serious advice about her presentation. She needs to sit back in her chair and adopt a composure that is seen to be that of a leader rather than a needy school girl. It’s a shame as it’s not doing her any good and may well lose her votes.

Greggers2017 · 19/11/2019 22:55

@Deathgrip I'm quoting what people know. My husband is massively into politics and knows his stuff. We both work on public sector but. It's know voting Corbyn is dangerous. Even people where I grew up who have voted labour all their lives are changing to conservative this time around

satanstoenailsandwich · 19/11/2019 22:55

'Basically it can be summed up like this, JC becomes PM, were all doomed, except himself and his cabinet of course. BJ becomes PM still bad but nowhere near as catastrophic as JC. '

How are we doomed? People keep saying this but how? In what way? What policies doom us to some terrible undisclosed fate?

ssd · 19/11/2019 22:55

Yappy12, what does GET BREXIT DONE mean then? What do you think will happen? Do you have any idea?

OP posts:
MustardScreams · 19/11/2019 22:56

@Yappy12 that’s satire right?

JimmyGrimble · 19/11/2019 22:56

Strong and fucking stable??? He doesn’t even know how many kids he has. He’s had numerous affairs and made Petronella Wyatt have 2 abortions. He’s a lying lardy laughing stock.
