I'm too angry about brexit. And the effect it'll have on us all. I can see a tory majority happening and it sickens me. I don't know what's happened to ordinary people. They've fell for something that will make their lives worse, sold to them by an elite that has shafted them.

I can't fucking bare it.

So if a vote is brought back to the people what was the fucking point of the referendum in the first place? It's done for fucks sake cant the remainers just accept it ? The most nasty racist and horrible comments I've heard have come from the mouths of remainers aimed at leave voters.

JimmyGrimble · 19/11/2019 23:06

Yappy Honour and Alexander de Pfeffel? Poles apart. He’s a liar. He has no honour either in his personal or public life.

MustardScreams · 19/11/2019 23:06

@happyandsingle can you please tell me how Brexit will benefit our country? And not just the 1%, normal people that work hard for a living and just want the best for their families?

What is it about Brexit that is better than what we currently have?

Soen · 19/11/2019 23:06

Great PM Grin

Yappy12 · 19/11/2019 23:06

Can anyone seriously imagine Dianne fucking Abbott as Home Secretary. She can't even add up. Send her for GCSE maths. first.

Ffsseriously · 19/11/2019 23:06

@Greggers2017 was your dad Arthur Scargill 😂😂😂😂

Deathgrip · 19/11/2019 23:07

No I'm saying I listen and make my own opinion. I have a disabled brother and son. My dad worked down the pit for 40 years. I was a teacher and now work for the NHS but I still realise that Corbyn will ruin the country.

Ruin it how?

If you have disabled children and relatives you absolutely must know what this government has done to harm them. What about Corbyn is so terrifying that you think he’s a worse prospect? Can you consider even for a second that this opinion might be based on propaganda and lies?

Soen · 19/11/2019 23:08

Happyandsingle - first ask yourself the question: what was the point of the first referendum? Who was it trying to appease? I'll wait

JimmyGrimble · 19/11/2019 23:08

yappy Priti Patel.

Yappy12 · 19/11/2019 23:09

@Ffsseriously

Am from Barnsley originally. Scargill was a nutter. Thatcher put him in his place alright.

Jux · 19/11/2019 23:09

I'm disabled. i used to have a career, in London at the company's head office, well paid, reponsible, hard work, long hours. Then one day I didn't have any of that because I could no longer power through, my disability is progressive. All my assets have gone due to just being alive and therefore having to pay for things. I only claim DLA as I'm actually too scared to apply for anything else.

I used to regularly eat at, for instance, Marco Pierre White's and the Ivy , I was at the opening night of Raymond Blanc's London restaurant, I was an habituee at the Royal Opera House (because I do ike opera), I was consulted by MPs, I had a tiny flat in Fitzrovia.....

I used to have a career and power through my disability. Now I sit in my kitchen in a boring town in Devon where nothing happens and no one interesting comes on holiday, and my main social activity takes place here on MN where I am no one.

Maybe one day you'll find that you can no longer power through your disability. Guard against it carefully.

Can anyone seriously imagine Dianne fucking Abbott as Home Secretary. She can't even add up. Send her for GCSE maths. first.

The day after Abbott made that gaffe, the actual chancellor of the exchequer Philip Hammond went on the radio and got the figures for the high speed rail expansion wrong... by 20 BILLION POUNDS.

Still voting Tory though, apparently.

Yappy12 · 19/11/2019 23:10

@JimmyGrimble

Yes, what about our great new Home Secretary? Rather her than Abbott any day.

JimmyGrimble · 19/11/2019 23:11

Soen The pig fucker had to call it as the Tory party we’re losing out to the ‘kippers and about to eat itself. Then the money and lies and manipulation kicked in. It’s all coming to light now. Although not until after the election. Of course.

Soen · 19/11/2019 23:11

Yappy - you clearly haven't read about or been affected by the windrush scandal. What a privileged position you are in.

JimmyGrimble · 19/11/2019 23:12

Yappy you’re funny.

Bluerussian · 19/11/2019 23:12

Well....I like Diane Abbott, always have. However in recent times she has not enjoyed good health, for example during the campaign her diabetes was out of control. Therefore I don't think she should be given a prominent government role if Labour get in unless she can prove she is now quite on the ball.

She does good work and is well respected in her constituency which is what matters. My MP is too and I can't imagine him being a government minister, don't think he'd want that.

Soen · 19/11/2019 23:12

I know Jimmy - I was hoping that happyandsingle would do their own research. Probably won't, but I tried.

Deathgrip · 19/11/2019 23:13

The pig fucker had to call it as the Tory party we’re losing out to the ‘kippers and about to eat itself. Then the money and lies and manipulation kicked in. It’s all coming to light now. Although not until after the election. Of course.

Precisely. The tory party sold out our economy and our future just to avoid losing votes to UKIP. That’s it.

The things that people are angry about - the ways their lives are screwed up - are as a result of tory policy, not the EU. And if they are in charge during Brexit, we are all in serious trouble.

Sadly, some people won’t believe all this until it’s happened and the damage is done.

And it will still be Corbyn’s fault.

JimmyGrimble · 19/11/2019 23:13

Soen soz. Answered your question when you clearly knew the answer. Apols.

happyandsingle · 19/11/2019 23:13

Priti Patel is far superior to Abbott. That woman is a car crash

Juz, your post has given me great food for thought, thank you.

sunglasses123 · 19/11/2019 23:14

I found a zero hours contract useful and certainly my two kids do as well. When I found I didn’t need one I applied for a permanent role and my oldest is doing the same.

happinessischocolate · 19/11/2019 23:15

Can anyone seriously imagine Dianne Abbott as Home Secretary.

Can anyone seriously imagine Boris Johnson as foreign secretary:
