Small chocolate bar

Who is BU here? We have a houseful of family today. DD went to the shops and offered to buy everyone a packet of sweets. Person A asked for a small chocolate bar, Person B said they didn’t want anything. DD got home and handed out the sweets. Person B asked Person A if they could break their bar of chocolate into 2 and give them a piece. Person A said they would like to eat this particular bar themselves, but there was more chocolate in the cupboard. Person B said they wanted a piece of Person A’s chocolate in particular. Person B was told they could have ordered their own bar if they wanted one, but Person B wanted a piece of Person A’s chocolate because they didn’t want a whole bar. Words were exchanged on both sides. Should Person A have shared, or should Person B have ordered their own bar?

Person B sounds like my OH.

Constantly says he doesn't want anything from the shops then trys and eats half of mine..he gets told to jog on, it's shitty!

B is BU. If you don't order something you have to live with the consequences when the delivery arrives and the other people get delicious-looking treats and you have only despair to chew upon.

B is a dick. If they wanted a chocolate bar they had their chance to order one. You don’t get to take someone else’s chocolate just because you want it.

I’m A. B is my mum. She said she didn’t want a whole bar, just a bit of mine, and called me a selfish bitch. Which is a tragically predictable turn of events. We have a complicated relationship.

I hate sharing my food unless I want to.

Your mum sounds absolutely horrible. What a cow. This annoys absolutely everybody, apart from your mum and Tinkobell it appears. Is it because they don't want to pay for it themselves?
It's not on at all and her namecalling is really spiteful.

With people like B (and they usually have a history of it - I've got one too) I always get an extra one just in case. (And then I've got a secret extra one if they don't behave as I expect they will - don't tell them about it.)

Person B is a twat. If they only wanted a bit of chocolate then they should have had a bar themselves and exercise some self control.

My Ex was person B. I feel so vindicated reading this thread.
