Just seen, it Boris walking through an office and making a cup of tea while exchanging jolly convos with workers.

I have never ever seen such a pile of complete WANK in my life! And at 58, I've seen many political ads...

Honestly, do they think people are stupid or are they trying to throw the election?

Trying to show he’s one of the people or whatever crap they’re on about.

Dd aged 16 and I laughed our heads off!

Why don't you put it in politics rather than AIBU

They've copied Vogue. They have a YouTube series called 73 Questions where a guy behind a camera follows a celeb around their house and asks questions.

Conservatives can't even think of their own video!

I think they are trying to lose this election. There is no other rational explanation for their approach to these elections.

Did you see him mopping the flood water the other day? He's obviously never used a mop in his fucking life. Angry

I just always remember that interview he did and he didn't know how much a pint of milk was.

You watched a party political broadcast? I didn't think anybody ever did that!

Report

RedSheep73 · 12/11/2019 18:50

And yes, they think all the plebs are stupid.

Raab famously tried the "I'm just an ordinary bloke" interview in his kitchen, but people soon pointed out his four ovens. He explained that he only had two ovens since those were a pair of double-Agas, but that did little to appease the meanies who were probably just jealous.

Was it worse than that "I build buses" bollocks?

I thought it was a spoof. I couldn't understand why the BBC were showing it. I am still Shock

"marmite or not?" honestly who gives a flying fuck if he likes marmite or marmalade. Sadly, yes I have just watched the whole thing again on BBC1 in order to confirm that what I saw the first time was what it was.

I think as a 'down with the kids' plan this may well be a wrong move. And as an 'up with the retired boomers' probs also a wrong move too.

We all particularly enjoyed the token black guy exchanging fist bumps...

He’s an arsehole trying to appeal to other arseholes. Getting worried about the demographics. What an absolute twatbadger this man is.

Painful.

It was supposed to sound like spontanious questions and answers but it would have been planned, written and carefully rehearsed to give the exact message they wanted. It was totally fake from start to middle, which is as long as I could stand.

What exactly are You being unreasonable about? Put it in politics, you have obviously only started this thread to make a political point.

Report

Puppylucky · 12/11/2019 19:16

Unfortunately I think he's played a blinder. He's relaxed, casual and approachable. In the context of the cosy chat the plea to get Brexit done seems eminently reasonable.
The whole thing is focused on reaching undecided middle aged (30-50) middle England and I reckon he's done it
