Yesterday I took delivery of a new handheld cordless mini vacuum and I couldn’t wait for it to charge up so I could go and Hoover my skirting boards without having to drag the massive big Dyson around the house! I was so excited I was going round the house last night looking for things to Hoover up! My husband called me sad but I was so happy!

I also love buying anything new for the kitchen. I bough a multi bladed herb cutter the other day and oh it gave me such pleasure to use it on some parsley for dinner!

When I was at uni I used to love buying matching stationary which some people might think is a bit sad.

What are your nerdy/sad/uncool things in life that bring you excitement/joy?

Stationery. Pens, notebooks, planners. I love it. I have a stack of beautiful Moleskine notebooks I can't bring myself to write in because they're too perfect.

I have a whole bunch, (somewhat related, I'm almost certain I'm an Aspie), but one that came to mind is the other week, I was watching Dawson's Creek with my teen. It was the episode where they knocked off The Breakfast Club. After they got caught sneaking out of the library, when the librarian dumped out a whole card catalogue drawer, mixed them up on the floor, and told them their punishment was to put them all back in order... I instantly squealed, clapped my hands and said, "That would be SO much fun!!!" 😂 Of course my son looked at me like I had two heads, but I've been dreaming of enacting this ever since.

Flightradar24 love that app .We are on a flight path so love looking where they are going .Love flying just find planes fascinating.

Bibot that sounds interesting i am going to have a look .

IKEA food bags.... we only go every so often and it's my manna from heaven

I love reading about diet, nutrition etc.
Love recipes.
Love cooking from scratch, shopping in different places to get bargains.
Eating seasonally and trying new recipes depending on what's in season.
Love seeing a load of leftovers in the fridge then making another meal! It's like free food!

I am very is interested in history and love visiting archeological sites and museums. Really loved visiting a museum about underwater archaeology.
Also love visiting places related to WW I.

Embarrassed to admit this but I love planes. My dream day is a trip to Heathrow to watch then take off and land. I love tracking people's flights on flightradar too....😂😂😂😂

Big jigsaw puzzles and my new Sheila maid! I’ve even bought two ‘Socktopi’ to use with it 😄 I actually look forward to hanging out the washing now and can’t be bothered with the tumble dryer

Also love online surveys and competitions, I actually do that many surveys I make some money. I have bought tablets, phones, big hits of Lego like 7 sets at once, done a months shopping every few months. Even my phone credit is from surveys
