Just for fun

OP posts:

Parent and child parking

Bluerussian · 05/11/2019 23:42

Where 'of' is used instead of 'have' or 'with'.

WorraLiberty · 05/11/2019 23:42

"Line eyes needed"

"Hand hold please"

Anything with 'CF' in the title

"Talk to me about...."

MissLadyM · 05/11/2019 23:42

The line/pregnant ones!

WorraLiberty · 05/11/2019 23:43

Oh God yes, the 'AMA' threads just make me think 'Get over yourself'.

As a result I never ever open them.

Alsohuman · 05/11/2019 23:43

Anything about Mils.

LoisWilkersonsLastNerve · 05/11/2019 23:44

How much to you weigh?

A fucktonne ok? Hmm

Soon2BeMumof3 · 05/11/2019 23:44

All the anti- trans stuff. It's absolutely cannibalised the feminist content on here. And (I'm not coming back to debate this so don't bother derailing this thread) I find the discourse shockingly bigoted and nasty. It breaks my heart that LGBTIQ people have to read that crap in an otherwise mainstream and relatively sensible forum.

SluggishSnail · 05/11/2019 23:44

Anything Brexit related

LoverNotOfChicken · 05/11/2019 23:46

Anything that says ..... And go!.... Like them saying that makes me want to give them my thoughts!

Best tea time meals... And go!
Best supermarket.... And go!

No I won't.

Soon2BeMumof3 · 05/11/2019 23:48

@LoverNotOfChicken oh yes!! That drives me nuts. Like they assume everyone is sitting at their computer dying to compete for the opportunity of doing research for a stranger for free. Hmm

BritWifeinUSA · 05/11/2019 23:48

Anything where someone wants to “call someone out” over something.

ValleyClouds · 05/11/2019 23:49

Wheelchair vs buggy on a bus

It is NOT an EITHER / OR and it IS people being goady cunts

Last time, I, a wheelchair user, took a bus, there were 3 buggies on the bus too. We just fitted in around each other like Tetris

And everybody respected each others equal right to be on the bus like grownups

Imagine that!

AlrightBabby · 05/11/2019 23:50

anything about MILs
asking for baby names - if you want 'yooneeke', think it up yourself
and the twee f or c, or even worse bl**dy, come on!!

Leeds2 · 05/11/2019 23:52

I don't open threads where the title is written in capital letters.

GormlessLeech · 05/11/2019 23:55

The illiterate types —from NetMums— whose posts are non-punctuated gibberish wittering on about ‘we was’ ‘he’s son is a devil child’ ‘should of seen this coming’ ‘could of but we was round the house and there kid were crying’. For fucks sake. Just stop it. If you want people to provide support and information, at least put a primary school-level of literacy in your wall of text.

And; wHy aRE NoT-MumMies on MUMSNET rage rage 😄fucking wise up.

Fridayfun · 05/11/2019 23:56

Anything along the lines of "If you were the woman in xx cafe/shop/station today...."
Those treads are either totally having a go at the person's parenting or looking for a clap on the back because the poster smiled or sympathised with the person in some way.

JasonPollack · 05/11/2019 23:57

This though. @Soon2BeMumof3

It makes me embarrassed to mention mumsnet to people IRL.

Catsandchardonnay · 05/11/2019 23:57

Transphobic ones

LoverNotOfChicken · 05/11/2019 23:57

Yes definitely the disappointed to have a boy thread! And any that go on about how a daughter is a daughter all your life and a son is only here till he marries. 🙄 Down with the SMOGs!

MarthasGinYard · 05/11/2019 23:57

'DH ate the last salted caramel....should I LTB' Angry

RoomR0613 · 05/11/2019 23:59

Threads in the pregnancy section asking 'can I eat X'

I get some people are very anxious but the lists/ advice are right there on the NHS website, top of the google results.

but as the NHS website doesn't specifically list e.g tinned birds eye custard, or cheese strings as a safe item (both real MN threads), you just have to assume that as it's not a soft cheese or tinned liver or generally on the NHS list it's probably safe.

GormlessLeech · 06/11/2019 00:00

‘AIBU to think’- Yes. Your title is shite.

‘What dog breed should I pay some scumbag for that’ll be gOoD WitH kidS and will tolerate JaiidenMaii abusing it?’

‘Shock! My kids don’t like my current lover! How can I force my sexual partners into the lives of my kids who are clearly already in need of intense counselling?’

‘I fucked my boyfriend of 4 days with no contraception, now he doesn’t want My Miracle, this is completely surprising news to me.’

skippy67 · 06/11/2019 00:02

Is this racist?
Going to London. What should I wear?

RhubarbTea · 06/11/2019 00:05
