No carbs before marks eh ssd?

Auntyfannybaws · 01/11/2019 22:09

No carbs before marbs Karen, doing my nuts in AngryGrin

PumpkinP · 01/11/2019 22:09

Come on “DID SOMEBODY SAY JUST EAT!” Is much much worse 😩

scrappydappydoo · 01/11/2019 22:09

Argh bloody autocorrect- marbs

Auba14 · 01/11/2019 22:10

The one with Karen?!

Yes!!!! I’ve tweeted my annoyance so many times, a truly terrible advert that makes Deliveroo stick out for all the wrong reasons. I mute the TV when it comes on now!

Auba14 · 01/11/2019 22:10

Ps. The Just Eat one is just as bad.

PlaidMaid · 01/11/2019 22:11

YANBU.

“No carbs before Marbs, eh Karen”

Fuck off and mind your own business!

Difficultcustomer · 01/11/2019 22:17

Hate them both, unfortunately the thread shows that they have worked. I suspect most people don’t hate the ads so much that they wouldn’t use the service. Each now has a section of the public associating food delivery with their product, next time they think about placing an order.

ssd · 01/11/2019 22:17

What is Marbs?

OP posts:
Goodnightseamer · 01/11/2019 22:19

Marbella.

Apparently it's something that people who are in Closer say.

ssd · 01/11/2019 22:21

Blimey. Who knew?

I wonder if the advert was designed knowing people would find it completely annoying and therefore it’d stick in their head....

Newbie1999 · 01/11/2019 22:33

I hate this advert, mainly because THATS NOT EVEN HOW IT WORKS!

onetimeonlyy · 01/11/2019 22:35

It's weird because it's really off brand for deliveroo - seems like a just eat advert.

I hate that Karen is on a diet and all the men are stuffing their faces 🙄

CrumbsThatsQuick · 01/11/2019 22:38

Yes THAT IS NOT HOW IT WORKS... I keep thinking.... "But the delivery charges would be fucking huge".

WhentheRabbitsWentWild · 01/11/2019 22:41

YANBU at all

If I have had Deliveroo I just take it from the delivery person at the door . They do not come in , lol . .Sod that.

Sandsnake · 01/11/2019 22:43

YANBU. I have to mute it. Glad to know that it’s not just me being miserable though!Grin

magicstar1 · 01/11/2019 22:52

Stupid bloody ad! If it was true she’d have a line of delivery people at the door building up the delivery fees, as you can’t order from more than one restaurant at a time. Infuriating ad!

Lochroy · 01/11/2019 22:55

Is this the one where they get food from loads of different restaurants and it all arrives at once. But the disclaimer says you'd have to place at separate order for each restaurant? Like hell it would arrive at the same time! It's so misleading, I can't believe it's legal.

iklboo · 01/11/2019 22:56

She must spend more in delivery fees than the food cost. It's extortionate.

AllStarBySmashMouth · 01/11/2019 23:19

I hate pretty much every advert equally - but that woman and her endless bag of food (how loaded is she??) is definitely one of the worst

Also I'll show her pal carbs before marbs

BritishHorrorStory · 02/11/2019 01:35

The just eat one sponsors the celebrity X factor and it always makes me think the woman in the advert sounds so much better than the contestants

StillCoughingandLaughing · 02/11/2019 02:20

What annoys me is the suggestion that everyone happily orders that want and it all comes in one big delivery, whereas in reality you probably have to pay £10 per delivery. Living the life they do on the ad would lead to bankruptcy.
