Yes I did actually think OMG can you order from different restaurants simultaneously on Deliveroo?! and was annoyed when you can’t.

Rosehip10 · 02/11/2019 15:05

The Ad that gives me the rage is that Tena "Boutique" one where the actress says "I'm protected AND pretty". Sod off.

Skinnychip · 02/11/2019 15:22

Me and DD are always singing "did somebody say just eat?" Although we never have never used them (or uber eats, or deliveroo) We really liked the chicken madras/i need a balti/backstreet boys medley ads!! 😁 although obviously in a minority (sadly for the ad makers despite liking them we have never ordered from there!)
Barry Scott bullied me into buying cilit bang and it was really expensive and nowhere near as good as viakal!
And i hate the tesco (i think his name is Carl) casserole. The radio ad is even more puke-inducing with sad music when the girl comes home in tears and then they pretend the meatfree pretend casserole was nicer than the original
And theres a really overly emotional radio ad that i thought was going to be for a cancer charity or similar and its for bloody mcCain chips!!

PhilCornwall1 · 02/11/2019 15:26

@Rosehip10

Yep, that one is gear grinding too. My boys had pull-ups that looked exactly like those. "

Now I'm protected and wear passion killers!".

ExecutiveFiat · 02/11/2019 15:42

Practically all ads make me want to put my fist through the screen! The one that’s really doing my head in at the moment is the one where the new mum says, a little bit of wee is not going to stop me being me. I really just want to scream with rage when it comes on Angry

PanamaPattie · 02/11/2019 15:47

What’s Wagon Mamma?

fantasmasgoria1 · 02/11/2019 15:49

For me it's the just eat ads. They really irritate me.

nobodyloveslava · 02/11/2019 16:05

I'm really struggling with the Butlins ad on the radio! Stacey what's her name giggling about how they're going to just move in there. Vom.

iklboo · 02/11/2019 16:07

That berk and June on the over 50s plan ad. They're WAY over 50. Not that there's anything wrong with that I'm not arsing about in Tweeville taking post to my neighbours and growing parsnips in my gilet. I'm out getting soused on gin with my mates doing bad karaoke. A child of the bloody 70s/80s for crying out loud.

mencken · 02/11/2019 16:07

crap food .....excess packaging...crap food...excess packaging

anyone would think climate change and waste weren't an issue.

OtraCosaMariposa · 02/11/2019 16:07

It's nowhere near as bad as "I didn't know Oral B did a toothpaste!"

StillCoughingandLaughing · 02/11/2019 16:50

I’m also offended by an ad agency thinking I’d believe Denise Van Outen and Mark Wright would be seen dead in any old tat from Matalan.

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 02/11/2019 17:05

Those Nationwide ads with the unfunny comedy and the laughter track. Fucking cringe!

JovialNickname · 02/11/2019 17:17

I hate the Deliveroo one because the woman in it is so bloody rude... she back kicks the front door like a mule so it slams shut right in the smiling drivers face.

ssd · 02/11/2019 17:44

Watch out Jovial, the actress in it has a friend on this thread 😂

OP posts:
NameChange84 · 02/11/2019 17:53

Well yes, I do have a friend in it but I can differentiate between her and the character. She isn't rude obviously but the character has been written a certain way and she has had to follow direction re how to close the door etc. I get that it could be an annoying advert for some people.

dayswithaY · 02/11/2019 18:36

The one that's killing me is Portal by Facebook. It's some sort of webcam or Skype thing and they've got families arseing about and playing musical instruments together like they're the von Trapp family and everyone's so happy and dickish, it gives me the rage. Not a surly teenager in sight and they can't just say "How are you?" they have to do musical theatre in their kitchen for the grandparents in Australia or something. Totally vomit inducing with its twee ness.

EasyLifer · 02/11/2019 19:20

What about the Sixt(?) ad with the couple in a hire car and some twat faffing at the roadside with a horse and inflatable duck? What's that all about then?

LavendarGreen · 02/11/2019 19:41

The Ad for Plantur 39 gives me the rage.........

'It's especially good for women over forty.....' (with 'over forty' in hushed tones.) WHY? Why is it whispered? Confused

Why is it spoken like being 'over forty' is something to be ashamed of ? Hmm

So annoying. Must have been written/produced by a bunch of 19 year olds who think a 40 year old is a bloody pensioner!

To hate that fucking Deliveroo advert that's on all the time?
PhilCornwall1 · 02/11/2019 20:14

The Ad for Plantur 39 gives me the rage.........

I do like that advert and I'm not 19 Grin

WhentheRabbitsWentWild · 02/11/2019 21:26

@rainingallday Shock

That's awful . They were pretty annoying but don't deserve all that Jeez.

WhentheRabbitsWentWild · 02/11/2019 21:29

I have started using Plantur 39 due to losing hair (menopause) and it seems to be doing some good but , as PPs , I don't like the advert for it I have to say

HowlinProwlin · 03/11/2019 04:31

@ssd I know, I'm a total bitch, I shout 'ffs, let the bloody dog play he'd have scored from there'...

(If it's any defence at all, I am a card carrying cripple AND my mate wots blind says the kids voice annoys the shit out of him too.. )

I did think it was cute the first two times I saw it but it seems to be on every bloody ad break now.

PhilCornwall1 · 03/11/2019 08:31

This bloody woman grips my shit!!!

To hate that fucking Deliveroo advert that's on all the time?
