'Did somebody say just eat? Oooh'
No, nobody said just eat, she asked if he wanted a takeaway. Dh says this everytime and I want to whack him.

But I agree about the deliveroo ad and I wonder how the ad standards people allow it to be shown. Its clearly designed to show how many food places use deliveroo but very clumsily delivered (pun not intended - I think)

Not actually noticed the Deliveroo one but the JustEat one drives me mad and has me rushing to mute it whenever it comes on.

Oh gosh yes, so irritating! The only bit I like was that she gives out the Five Guys to five boys, and I only like that because it would have irrationally annoyed me if they hadn't had that detail.

Yes THAT IS NOT HOW IT WORKS... I keep thinking.... "But the delivery charges would be fucking huge".

That's all I get from that advert, that Karen has spent £20 on ordering from 10 different places!

If every member of my family wanted to order from a different takeaway, I'd be telling them to fuck off.

Fortunately I am too tight to pay for a cold mcd to be cycled across town, so I can tune these out. Dd and I like seeing how low the food hygiene scores are on the just eat takeaways in our town

Oh no the actress in the advert (Natalie Grady) is someone I know in real life. She's lovely and actually a very talented and succesful actress. That's not her natural accent that she is using in the commercial.

Just because it's a friend, understandably I quite enjoy seeing the advert and hope it means more money for Nat everytime its shown!

I wonder if the advert will plague her for years to come then?

I doubt it, who actually remembers the people who "star" in adverts? Apart from Barry Scott that is.

I highly doubt it. The advert is very different from the usual work she does and this is a real departure from her usual "type". I didn't realise it was her at first.

I rarely watch ‘live’ TV - 98% recorded do I can FF the Ads.

I don’t mind these two, too much (I’ve been surprised not to see threads on here about them though 🤣) but the one I HATE is the Virgin one with the kid who says she can ‘friend’ etc 😡😤🤯

It’s a shame Deliveroo doesn’t actually work like that - not her fault though. I’ll be surprised if the advert doesn’t get pulled for being inaccurate like their previous one did

My favourite ads (not that anyone was asking 🤣😂🤣😂) is the Flash series with the gorgeous dog - but I know there have been threads complaining about that one too!
