Just that really and, inspired by another thread, why do so many people dislike him?

OP posts:
noblegiraffe · 01/11/2019 21:03

If he’d not called a general election he had a shot of delivering his Brexit deal. Why did he pull it when it got through the second reading?

SoupDragon · 01/11/2019 21:09

I ‘trust’ him to 1) Not be Corbyn
2) deliver the current brexit deal.

Why would you trust him to deliver the current Brexit deal? He's not done a great job so far given all his promises.

To ask if you trust Boris Johnson.
UrbanMage · 01/11/2019 21:13

No. He's a malicious gobshite.

In other news, bears have been found shitting in the woods.

BarrenFieldofFucks · 01/11/2019 21:14

Nope nope nope

Epicwaffle · 01/11/2019 21:15

I’m not going to ‘stymie’ and derail the OP’s thread by getting into the ins and outs of the brexit deal parliamentary shenanigans, as that is not the main topic of the thread. I already post in the brexit section more than enough for that.

I have given succinct albeit basic answers in response to the simple OP.

73Sunglasslover · 01/11/2019 21:15

No one teeny tiny bit. He has no integrity and no moral compass. Very dangerous man. It scares me that he has any power at all.

isadoradancing123 · 01/11/2019 21:24

Do you seriously trust ANY politician,

Downton57 · 01/11/2019 21:27

'No integrity, no moral compass and very dangerous' sums him up beautifully. Jeremy Corbyn's lack of action, when he has had so many open goals, has infuriated me, but he is nothing like as bad as Boris. Does the fact that Trump supports Boris not give people any qualms at all? He is not the amiable buffoon he pretends to be and he isn't by any stretch of the imagination, either likeable or trustworthy.

Tanith · 01/11/2019 21:34

He's so dishonest, I even question whether he really voted Leave.

Never mind what he says, his actions have so far have ensured that Brexit has not got through. He even pulled his own WA!

Whatdayisit2 · 01/11/2019 21:34

Hahahahahahaha

No

CanICelebrate · 01/11/2019 21:41

Not particularly but I don’t trust any of them to be honest. I am still voting conservative as there is no way I’d vote for any of the others.

Sunshinegirl82 · 01/11/2019 21:42

I wouldn't trust him to tell me the time if we were looking at the same clock.

I'll vote for a melon on a stick as PM before I vote for a party led by Boris Johnson (I voted Conservative until 2017 when I voted Lib Dem. As things stand I can't see I will ever vote for the Conservative party again).

antwacky · 01/11/2019 21:51

I wouldn't even trust him to tell me what the weather was like outside.

Solihooley · 01/11/2019 21:54

Of course not. How could anyone think he was trustworthy?

DickKerrLadies · 01/11/2019 21:54

I trust Boris Johnson to do what's best for Boris Johnson. That's about it.

I trust Corbyn more, but that's not really saying a lot TBH.

ssd · 01/11/2019 21:57

I utterly can't stand him. However I believe the tories will win the election as so many English folk are shit scared of Corbyn and trust the upper classes to tell them what to do.
The sooner we get independence the better.

RufusthebewiIderedreindeer · 01/11/2019 21:59

I trust him as far as i could throw him

SavageBeauty73 · 01/11/2019 21:59

No.

KidLorneRoll · 01/11/2019 22:01

Fuck no. I wouldn't trust him to watch over a pile of shite.

Sarahlou63 · 01/11/2019 22:15

I find it very disturbing that his (known) adult children seem to play no part in his life and are not supporting him publicly. Similarly his brother and sister. Says a lot.

CendrillonSings · 01/11/2019 22:25

Sarahlou63

I suppose you must have missed this story from September?

In a public attack on his brother’s political party, Piers Corbyn said Labour had not “respected the result of the referendum” and gave his support to Tory leader Boris Johnson.

Oh dear. Says a lot, right?

Violetparis · 01/11/2019 22:27

No, he's out for himself and no-one else.

Paintedmaypole · 01/11/2019 22:28

Sorry about the confusing vote. MN are unable to remove it. To the people who find him likeable, I would say this: conmen nearly always try to cultivate a likeable outer persona or they wouldn't be very good conmen.

OP posts:
TooLittleTooLate80 · 01/11/2019 22:29

No, purely based on the leave campaign lies and his inability to disclose how many children he has.

Even worse though, all that sadly could have no reflection on how good/bad a politician he is.

RufusthebewiIderedreindeer · 01/11/2019 22:30

I just had to recheck that this thread is about Boris Johnson

Maybe start (yet) another thread about how shit Corbyn is cendrillon
