Just because people are treated badly in the production of some goods, it doesn't make it OK to watch videos of women - who may well have been hurt, abused trafficked or coerced - be abused further on camera. You don't need to watch porn to get sexual pleasure. We coped without video porn for 1000s of years. If anything it is detrimental to a healthy sex life. Just because someone doesn't watch porn it does not mean they are a prude, puritan or don't enjoy sex.

My argument has remained the same throughout. There are women in the porn industry being exploited/abused/raped. I don’t think that’s ok. I don’t think it’s ok for people to watch this happening, in fact, I think it shows a complete disregard for human suffering. There are other effects of porn that are also hugely concerning, but not as relevant to this particular discussion, which started from an article about a child appearing on a mainstream porn platform.
