If you haven't already?

Also, encourage your older teenagers to register for the first time.

Boris has proposed election for December!

One for this thread ...

To remind you all to register to vote...

Why bother voting?? Parliament will completely disregard your vote if they don't like it, a complete waste of your time. Fuckers.

You’ve got a point there, BMW.

Xenia · 30/10/2019 16:15

However Parliament will not disregard your vote if a Government gets a majority as then it has the power to pass things. Therefore best that people vote, old, young, all people, do not just moan after that you do not like the result.

Xenia

Parliament can disregard people's votes as they do not have to stick to their manifestos once they are in power.

Xenia · 30/10/2019 20:26

Yes, but on the whole we tend to know what we are going to get under Labour or the Toiries. It is just that the Brexit issue has divided both those parties and been very difficult indeed.

There is no party for my point of view - very small state and much lower taxes but the Tories will have to do for now even though they are high tax and high spend.
