Birthday card

It’s my birthday today ♥️🎉

My partner has kindly bought me a card from him and from his two boys (my step sons) which was lovely and appreciated.

I haven’t got a card from my unborn child - am I just being a birthday drama queen or is my disappointment justified? I have asked him he said the supermarket didn’t have any cards from ‘bump’ but if that was me purchasing the card I’d of just got a happy birthday mummy card. I’m in the latter stages of pregnancy for context.

Aibu to go and buy one myself?

Rather than querying whether the shop had the right card, query which aisle they sell 'a grip' in; go get one of those instead

Well they sell cards from bump so I don’t really think I’m being THAT unreasonable to expect one.

I think I’d be being unreasonable if I expected a present, but a card, they do sell, for various occasions I.e Mother’s Day, father’s day, birthday, Christmas.

Oh some people really have got a bee in their bonnet over this🤦🏼‍♀️ You might wanna stop off at Costa on your way to work and get yourself a nice calming cup of tea to settle Yourself down 😂

Plenty of time for cards when they’ve popped out. Hand made cards are well worth waiting for.
