Do people really make their partners "wash their willy"?

Years ago I was friends with a girl who casually mentioned in a conversation that when she and her boyfriend are in the throws, and she decides to perform fellatio (great word), she'd make him wash his willy first.

I've now, ten years later, stumbled across a similar comment being made on a TV show I'm watching. This time the guy is required to do so before any sexual encounter.

Maybe I'm just lucky because my husband is a well-kept, clean guy...

AIBU to think that willy washing before sex etc. would take away from the moment?

Same way like if I am in for a treat I make sure I am clean.
Unless it's a quickie or similar, we wash.

Nobody would even question the logic if a man asked a woman to wash her vagina before oral sex. Don’t see why women need to suffer through unwashed dicks if men won’t suffer through the same.

i don't often ever deliver these days but if i was going to he'd definitely need to be freshly showered. any passion that would have helped to jump that hurdle is truly dead with a toddler and another in the oven. not because he's dirty, he's not, but i couldn't put anything other than a fresh cock in there no no no.

Jesus this place never fails to amaze me regarding the difference between people - if I knew my OH was filthy I would suggest a shower before sex, but otherwise, he showers once a day as I do and we've never stopped before sex to go and wash up (unless we are both properly gross). Clearly we're disgusting haha!

I've never known anyone in my couple of decades of sexual activity to insist on a pre-shag wash unless you'd been in the gym (and even then, sweaty man, nice), so evidently I move in similarly grotty company.

Side note: an ex of mine absolutely preferred it if I hadn't showered before he went down. Takes all sorts!

I don't get how this works. Do you start foreplay then send him off to wash his bits? Do you schedule sex so you can wash beforehand?  We just have sex spontaneously and assume the other person is generally clean, which they are. I don't mind a bit of sweat though

I wouldnt stop doing what we were doing to go and wash BUT we are both very clean, shower in the morning and bath at night, so it’s not an issue.
