Her weeping after the dance made me cringe. And her grasping of Mike bushel like a love struck teen - burying her head in his neck etc. Are they not meant to be professionals? All the touchy feely stuff is getting a bit much.

I missed all of that as I was hiding behind the sofa like I always do when she comes on. I think she is miffed that her ex is out in front and doing better then she is.

Well although I don't condone the snogging business, if we put ourselves in her shoes, things must have been pretty awful for her since. Loads of nastiness in the press/on social media, then the breakdown of her marriage, probably worry over whether she'd be allowed back on Strictly, then the two falls last week and people suggesting she was drunk. Can't have been much fun and I'm sure she's well aware that some people might enjoy seeing her do badly. Which is not kind. He who never did anything wrong can throw the first stone and all that.

So for her, and for Mike, I am glad they did well this week. Mike especially because he's not had any history of dancing, and he's older - he did really, really well this week.

She must have been a bit shocked about how well they did. He's a bit of a dad dancer.

She started crying at the end of the dance and didn't stand up for ages.

I assumed something outside the show had upset her - like a bereavement - and she suddenly felt overwhelmed.

I found Saffron sobbing that she couldn't bear the thought of losing her nan more concerning, TBH, because we all know in the natural order of things she will lose her at some stage.

I thought she'd hurt herself dancing at first. It was bizarre. She needs to get a grip.

All of the "I could kiss you" etc seemed in pretty bad taste given the events of last series...

Not just me then! They are supposed to be professional dancers. The “stars” crying is moderately acceptable but not the professionals.

You are being unreasonable.

Katya Jones is a truly brilliant choreographer and any celebrity who is partnered with her is extremely fortunate.

She probably cried because she and Mike didn't get very good marks the last two weeks and this week he has improved massively.
