Wank tissue left on sofa

I’ve name changed for this and will no doubt be accused of making this up, or maybe not, don’t know how common this is.

This morning I went into the living room and found a clump of wet tissues on the sofa which my partner had clearly used to dry himself after wanking. I know this is absolutely gross, and I’m furious - was already angry enough and have changed my ways recently so that I’m only doing my own laundry, my own washing up etc as I don’t see why I should have to do his, and now he has left this on the sofa. He did subsequently bin it without me asking (how good of him) but i find it so disrespectful that he’d just leave it there for me to find. I know this reads like a parody post of ‘angry/first world problem mumsnetter’ but it’s sadly not. Is this common? I highly doubt it. We don’t have children thank god.

passionfruit11 · 25/09/2019 14:48

Disgusting. Thread title made me snort

Bingoblingo · 25/09/2019 14:49

Tissues and issues...

Zebraaa · 25/09/2019 14:50

Are people not allowed to make mistakes?

WiddlinDiddlin · 25/09/2019 14:50

It's pretty minging to leave sticky wet tissues lying around anywhere, regardless of which bodily fluid is on the tissues.

I am really here to discover how the heck sodrained thinks ejaculation works though!

HennyPennyHorror · 25/09/2019 14:51

Poo what do you mean "fummin"?? Who said that?

justasking111 · 25/09/2019 14:55

I cannot touch snotty tissues OH leaves them by the bed, on the table by his chair. Yucky as if the fairies will dispose of it.

Davros · 25/09/2019 14:58

So was he sitting on the couch in the nuddy having this wank? Or were his clothes open and draped? I think that's important information although now I'm thinking about it, the location is making it extra grim

Crunchymum · 25/09/2019 14:58

What time of day was this?

Or did he just decide to whack one off and hope you didn't walk in?

SavingSpaces2019 · 25/09/2019 15:00

I’m furious - was already angry enough and have changed my ways recently so that I’m only doing my own laundry, my own washing up etc as I don’t see why I should have to do his, and now he has left this on the sofa

Well, he obviously doesn't give two shits about you going on 'strike' as such.
I think he left it there deliberately knowing that it would wind you up...picking it up later without being asked is just his way of sticking two fingers up at you and saying "I know i'm a lazy, filthy slob and you can go on 'strike' but i'll do whatever the hell i want whenever i want"

Are you sure you want to stay with him?

painauchocolat84 · 25/09/2019 15:05

*The technical term for this is a "Spunk Rose" due to the way the crumpled tissue resembles a flower.

Please amend your title for accuracy.*

😂😂😂😂😂

Justaboy · 25/09/2019 15:08

LTB! LTB! its what you gotta do!!

We once had a rented 3 bed house populated with nurses. Don't know quite why but the detrius under their beds, old used tampax, used condoms and tissues where I presume they wiped the boyfriends "outputs" off themselves was vile. I only found this mess after they all moved out!

One of them worked in a high dependenacy unit how no one died in there with her gross habits i don't know:(

surreysnapper · 25/09/2019 15:09

clearly he hadn't got round to washing up his beaker

Ringdonna · 25/09/2019 15:11

I thought they usually wiped on the curtains?

manybirdsnests · 25/09/2019 15:14

Also laughing at Spunk Rose
Grin Grin

Doobigetta · 25/09/2019 15:17

I came here to say better than using the curtains but Ringdonna beat me to it.

Nameisthegame · 25/09/2019 15:17

Get some electrical tape create a frame around it and label it a soggy end, tissue and seamen on sofa by *name 2019....might be passive aggressive lol

December2019 · 25/09/2019 15:18

At least he used a tissue to be fair...
my OH would probably wipe it on the curtains

YouJustDoYou · 25/09/2019 15:18

Vom. DH is guilty of this. It's grim.

KUGA · 25/09/2019 15:18

A colleague of mine many years ago employed a cleaner and told her if you find tissues by dh bed DO NOT TOUCH/MOVE.
Hes a wanker who does not clean up after himself. I couldnt stop laughing until she said she isn`t winding me up .
F/ing gross dirty pig.
As gross as it would be I would put a used tampon on his chair and ask him what he thinks of that.

ForalltheSaints · 25/09/2019 15:19

I am a man and would never ever have done this even when single.

I am surprised it is not 100% YANBU.

spanglydangly · 25/09/2019 15:20

So he left it there, then realised without you telling him and threw it away?

It sounds like an initial oversight which he's sorted?

Are you angry due to the back story?

NoSauce · 25/09/2019 15:22

Why are you even with him?

oohyoudevilyou · 25/09/2019 15:23

Are you sure it was a wank tissue? DH recently sounded off at DS1 thinking he'd left one (of the many that fill his bedroom bin) on the landing. It was actually hair styling cream (mine) and I'd dropped it en route to the bin. Grin

Lairymary · 25/09/2019 15:23

OP could it have been a "dirty protest" since you are no longer cleaning up after him!? What was his reaction when the tissue was discovered? I.e did he give a shit?
