Before I get a flaming for eating maccys: I'm a fit, 30 YO woman who does serious cardio 4x a week, with strength training. I'm a healthy size 10-12. I limit sugar, I eat salads etc etc. You get the picture.

I've been out tonight for a wine or two, so I treated myself to some maccys nugs on the way home. I LOVE maccys nugs. I once had a nugs salad because I couldn't finish a share box so had them with salad the next day.

Someone has just told me to stop eating them on the tube as it's disrespectful. I can't work out if I have offended the skinny, the fat, the under privileged or the overprivileged.

I had BBQ sauce. It's not all over my face. I work really hard, I deserve these nugs.

Perhaps she stays that size cause she's inadvertently developed her own unique version of the Keto diet I hear everyone twatting on about on here? Just nuggets. Nuggy Nugs and nothing else OP!

If you hadn't written it down, I would have thought this was one of those moments where you are so used to talking to your 2 YO that you accidentally slip baby language into adult conversation, a bit like when DC at school accidentally call the teacher 'Dad'.

To be honest, there's far more disrepectful things that people get up to on the tube, I couldn't really be bothered about people eating chicken nuggets.

PSA on the McDonalds chicken nuggets share box. They're ridiculously cheap, in that, if you're buying any chicken nuggets at all, you might as well buy 20, because it's something like £2.59 for 6, £3.59 for 9 or £4.29 for 20, so you can either share them between 2, or save some for later.

YABU - don't eat stinky food on the tube and for the love of god don't call them "nuggy nugs".

It'll be the smell of them that got you a complaint. It's the smell of food that's a problem on public transport. I'd have no issue with you eating nuggets, I just wouldn't fancy the smell.

I once gave some one such a filthy look that they actually moved asap once, after opening a stinking, revolting looking Maccys breakfast next to me on a train. They fair put me off my bucks fizz .
