LOL at Bojo's big Euro appearance. He ran away. The euro minister was alone at the 2 podiums. He is an utter disgrace we should all be ashamed of him. AIBU to say he's a bloody embarrassment?

For Johnson defenders, no matter what, No 10 asked for the press meet to be moved at the last minute after everything was set up and podiums were wired. Undoubtedly No 10 thought that they could make that last minute request (knowing everything was ready to go) and then claim Luxembourg, when they said no can do, were being mean to them. Boo hoo

cardibach · 16/09/2019 16:49

Should be ‘Nothing says childish...’ at the start there. Too cross to proofread.

ChocChocButtons · 16/09/2019 16:54

@smilethoyourheartisbreaking na your ok, not much point is there. As you remoaning leftie snowflakes don’t wanna hear any opinion but your own.

mummmy2017 · 16/09/2019 16:55

It is laughable that you refuse to see this comes over as the shouting mass that is remain yet again upset that things are not lining up for them.
Why would any PM try to give a speech in that situation, with a hostile crowd.
Joe Public just sees it as another episode of the EU bullyboys.
The longer this goes on the more people are saying just let us leave, but in your bubble you don't feel the mood turning.

The fact that you use terms like remoaning lefty snowflakes speaks volumes.

CarolDanvers · 16/09/2019 16:57

Oh Choc. I'm sorry but you sound really stupid Sad

ChocChocButtons · 16/09/2019 16:59

@CarolDanvers do I? Oh well. I mean it’s not stupid to think someone is funny. But if that’s your opinion fair enough. Smile

mummmy2017 · 16/09/2019 17:00

@ChocChocButtons
Can you please confirm that the tide is turning against Parliament and the members not voting as their constituents want.

Hester54 · 16/09/2019 17:00

I have to hand it to them, they certainly stuffed The U.K. government up there, what with a rent a crowd and a man on a megaphone, well played, Why were they booing him ?

BoreOfWhabylon · 16/09/2019 17:01

Johnson's pigeons are coming home to roost, I hope they shit all over him in the process.

This

I think you’re wrong about more people wanting to leave, but that aside, so you honestly believe leaving will mean we don’t talk to EU leaders anymore? There’ll be years and years of this, more so if we leave no deal as then we’ll have to make all the deals. Individually. With no clout.

longwayoff · 16/09/2019 17:02

O poor Bozo, not used to being shouted at poor love, anyone would think he'd never set foot in the HOC where bawling, shouting, barracking, insulting is par for the course. He's obviously terribly sensitive and a bit of a big girl's blouse.

SistersOfMerci · 16/09/2019 17:03

Do NOT engage with any kind of debate with ChocChoc for gods sakes.

I've seen their 'reasoning' on other threads, you can't argue with ..........

Venger · 16/09/2019 17:03

I like Boris, he’s funny and he doesn’t care what snowflakes think.

I'm sure Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe is absolutely doubled over with laughter after the hilarious remarks he made about her.

"[Female students went to university because they] have got to find men to marry"

So funny!

"It is said that the Queen has come to love the Commonwealth, partly because it supplies her with regular cheering crowds of flag-waving piccaninnies"

Racism! What a hoot!

"Orientals have larger brains and higher IQ scores. Blacks are at the other pole."

Even more racism. It's not even subtle. The man is a comedy genius.

"Voting Tory will cause your wife to have bigger breasts and increase your chances of owning a BMW M3"

Amazing.

cardibach · 16/09/2019 17:03

Why were they booing him ?
Well, apparently they were mostly UK citizens, so probably because he’s stuffing up their lives and risking their livelihoods by going for the hardest if hard brexits, @Hester54

Venger · 16/09/2019 17:04

Why were they booing him ?

Because he's a cunt.

HTH.

Venger If being a cunt is a reason to boo people, the whole Parliament must be booed every time they walk in public

rosie39forever · 16/09/2019 17:10

Please don't call him a cunt he lacks the warmth and depth.

smilethoyourheartisbreaking Why should the U.K. PM listen more to a rent a crowd than to 17.4 m voters, surly he’s only doing his job for the majority of voters ( who voted )

VladmirsPoutine · 16/09/2019 17:19

Yanbu but having thought about it a bit more I don't think the optics will harm him. To his core Brexiters it very much appears that the 'EU' well in this instance PM of Luxembourg was being belligerent. That said, you can see Boris is unravelling. Clowns crave attention and being liked. He's falling apart at all the booing, his brother leaving the party and yellowhammer docs. He won't last.

I agree, he's already starting to look tired and haggard.
