Do you also think disabled people are born in the wrong body?

No I don't

VladmirsPoutine · 18/09/2019 15:53

@tizzybell My whataboutery!? Don't address me any further. I have been on this thread outlining the struggles for women and girls in view of where this dangerous ideology leads to but it was you who popped up with your 'what about the menz' diatribes. Of course we can consider more than one thing at a time but your willingness to see women thrown under the bus in favour of supporting men speaks volumes. I am no part of that. Good day to you sir.

tizzybell · 18/09/2019 15:53

@OldCrone what point are you actually trying to make here? this is a reach if ever I saw one

TheAlternativeTentacle · 18/09/2019 15:55

You're being hysterical. And also very misandrist tbh.

It is literally MRA bingo in here. Hysterical! Misandrist!

No I don't

You are kidding right?

Fuck me, I've heard it all now.

I think they is very sexist. They have said they think like a woman, and I couldn't help wondering which one...

I actually love this response.

tizzybell · 18/09/2019 15:58

"see women thrown under the bus" you are all so ugly hahahaha

RosesAndRaindrops · 18/09/2019 15:58

You are kidding right? Fuck me, I've heard it all now

Why?
Was it supposed to be some kind of gotcha?
If I'd have said yes you'd no doubt have said the exact same thing.

Why would anyone believe a disabled person has been born in the 'wrong' body. Yes it is unfortunate that they are disabled but I would never describe their body as 'wrong' and I think my disabled sister would be offended that you think so...

They are more than their disability you know...

RosesAndRaindrops · 18/09/2019 16:01

This is great. You both just mimicked verbatim @VladmirsPoutine’s outrage phraseology. It’s like listening to indignant toddlers practicing growed up talk

I haven't done any outrage though? Are people getting posters mixed up again as you can't cope with more than one opposing view at the same time?

leaserspottedmummybird · 18/09/2019 16:02

It's completely daft . How can one person suddenly become two !Confused I don't get him really.

@RosesAndRaindrops I'm as confused as you are, I'm merely stating my opinions and facts..

Please don't insult my intelligence either as you know nothing about me. To do so just because I have a different opinion says a lot more about you than me @SmellbowSpaceBowl

tizzybell · 18/09/2019 16:04

@SmellbowSpaceBowl no i asked a question...

RosesAndRaindrops · 18/09/2019 16:04

Yes it is unfortunate that they are disabled but I would never describe their body as 'wrong' and I think my disabled sister would be offended that you think so...

Exactly I mean WTF,
Not sure what the objection to no is as there was no explanation!
I personally think it's pretty offensive to think a disabled person has the wrong body but maybe that's just me! Confused

I think the mistake I made was I inferred their position as if they were female. I now read into this behaviour as framed by their male socialisation and it’s all clicking into place.

Someone on FWR once posted something along the lines of once you realise they are men it all makes sense.

I didn't get it at first but the more I read what trans women were actually saying, it really is true.

It's funny really, people say that MN turns people into t**fs (not sure whether banned terminology applies in AIBU as well) but not for me it wasn't. It was the TRAs themselves that made me think fuck this shit.

I did laugh at tizzys 'how did you cope' WRT men in dresses. Bless.

OldCrone · 18/09/2019 16:08

Thanks for answering my questions Roses. But I still don't understand your position.

I asked about religion because I wondered who it was that you believed 'meant' this person to be something else. Surely only a god could 'mean' a person to be something other than what they are.

And as for the disabled person question, if someone who has a physically healthy body, but not the sex they want it to be, can be considered to be 'born in the wrong body', why can't a disabled person, consider herself or himself to be 'born in the wrong body'? I would consider the disabled person to have a greater claim to that.

@oldcrone are you mad??? where did anyone say disabled people couldn't say that?! You just brought it up to be intelligent but now realise it was a stupid point

OldCrone · 18/09/2019 16:13

where did anyone say disabled people couldn't say that

Roses said it.

RosesAndRaindrops · 18/09/2019 16:13

You’re always confused
Nope.
Just want to know why it's not offensive to think disabled people are born in the wrong body.
I bloody think it is.
