AIBU to find this weird ? 'Single mum munch box'

So if you're in Scotland you will know what a munchy box is. Basically it's a pizza box from the chippy, Indian or Chinese filled with a variety of stuff. DH is out tonight, im throwing a mild strop about food we have in the house and so I was browsing the local Just Eat to see what I might order. One oif the local chippy/Indians do a 'Single Mum Munchy Box'
Why do they think this is specifically for single mums? The chocolate?

I’m assuming it’s for one adult + children. It’s not a particularly nice bit of targeting but I guess statistically there are more single mother households than single father.

Do you English people know what a pizza crunch is? When my husband moved up to Scotland he was horrified we deep fry pizzas, now we batter them and deep fry them, delicious

I know what a munchy box is and I live in Glasgow too. It's a sharing thing, isn't it? Probably enough for one adult and one child.

I'm a lone parent though and when I do have a takeaway it's just too much quantity and cash to justify. Eating some the next day takes the shine off your treat.

I've never heard of pizza crunch here (Manchester). It would probably cost double that here.

Never seen that but I wouldn't want it on record at the local chinese that i was a single parent ykwim.

Looking at it again it comes with a 2litre bottle of soft drink. The one above comes with a can.

Can of soft drink - single person.
2l bottle - share between single person and 1 or 2 kids.

The only Munchy box I've ever had was a salt and chilli one from the Chinese. I ordered a large. I thought I might die.

It's definitely an odd choice of name but I'm more surprised by a munchy box having pizza crunch in it.
Round here pizza crunch is from the chippy and munchy boxes are from the Indian/kebab shop (or dessert places nowadays too)

Pizza crunch is battered and fried pizza. Have never tried it myself.
