Theres been worries about a lot, all valid reasons medical suppliers, food unrest. People stockpiling, and now that photo on twitter about the back pack with supplies & paperwork. do we need to be prepared for the real threat of some impending civil war? how scared do we need to be?

Independentcandidate

Tabbyyour line of questioning is very peculiar, like a child just repeatedly saying 'why' to everything.

That's rather a strange thing to say isn't it.

Socksontheradiator · 13/09/2019 16:38

Let's not feed the troll Wink

TabbyMumz · 13/09/2019 16:48

Socksontheradiator.....so if I join a thread and give my opinion on the subject, then answer peoples questions as to why I think that....I'm a troll? How rude is that.

Socksontheradiator · 13/09/2019 17:20

Well if you are serious, you lack critical thinking skills.

TabbyMumz · 13/09/2019 18:03

Socksontheradiator......sorry you feel that way....when you dont agree with someone, attack them personally....good that.

Independentcandidate · 13/09/2019 20:29

You dont know that though, do you. That's your response to pretty much every fact stated though. It's just plain odd. You do realise that lots of posters are actually on the front line of all this potential chaos don't you? They're not just making it all up to annoy you.

TabbyMumz · 14/09/2019 09:06

@Independentcandidate... .not odd at all. Posters on here would have people believe the government have done absolutely nothing in preparation and common sense tells me that's not true . Noone on here really knows what they have done, hence my comment.

Independentcandidate · 14/09/2019 09:13

Tabby dear lord your faith in the govt is touching I have to say. I'm not saying at all that they have done nothing but seriously, did you read Amber Rudd's resignation letter last weekend?? Do you really think that it's all going to go swimmingly??

Podwoman888 · 14/09/2019 13:44

When the Avian Flu Epidemic was threatening UK years ago one of the major hospitals in London was stockpiling body bags. As far as I know they are still in mothballs. Smile

Septembersunrays · 14/09/2019 13:53

Too much too old

That's really interesting! In my local council they don't even know which roads have yellow lines and can't be bothered to check before sending out letters, even letters from head of blah for parking to senior mps.

It's actually heartening to me that there is that level of detail and checks.

Bellinge

I'd like to store petrol and I think I have reasonably safe place to do it away from the houses.

I'd like couple of litres, not because of brexit but just because.

The eu is so vast, so lost in its vast burocracy, its wide open to corruptions, backhanders, no independent body to investigate its all dreadful.

Caught between rock and hard place I choose the rock right now, Boris.

Septembersunrays · 14/09/2019 13:57

Cam

Farage goes on light morning showsGrin

Have you not seen Piers Morgan in action, Emily thornberry was blown out water by Piers! After her appalling qt stint.

Septembersunrays · 14/09/2019 13:59

Graphista on trust the eu lost mine years ago.

I cannot fathom, someone with healthy mistrust of rulers wanting to stay in the eu Hmm

Cam77 · 15/09/2019 11:08

@Septembersunrays
I have never stated that I think Thornberry is a capable politician - just that Farage is full of shit. The fact that my mum can’t kick a ball three yards doesn’t make me a good footballer.

Yes, the EU is vast - the GDP of its constituent members is vast, which is why we are idiots to leave such a wealthy trading block. For all the other points - corruption, bureaucracy, etc, it’s superior to Westminster. At least previously while the clowns in UK parliament were doing their best to screw the country, we could rely on seamless trade and intelligence from our nearest neighbors. No longer.

How does this compare to Catelonia who voted to leave Spain yet never had their vote implemented?
